Tracey Gold gives another Great performance

First, the synopsis of this movie included Sylvie was born with a rare and serious mental disorder. Ummm ADD is not a serious mental disorder. It also states because of this her mother tries to persuade her not to have the baby when she got pregnant. Who writes these up? So far from the truth in describing what ADD is.

The movie is great and I saw it when it first came out. I am the same age as Tracey Gold, maybe a couple years older and I watched all her movies growing up. She definitely hits the marks in the movies. I find these movies so much better than what comes out now. There are a few places in the movie that don't really make sense and the writers should have caught that during editing. No spoilers but the movie has a good ending.

No Masterpiece, But I Enjoyed It

I usually run a mile when I find out a certain film is a TV Movie. Lets face it, most of them have bad acting, light plots and production values that rival community broadcasting. And while 'Sleep, Baby, Sleep' does have these 'qualities' I found myself really enjoying it.

Sylvie Pierson begins running a bath for her baby, made harder by the fact the hot water is not running. She leaves her apartment for a few minutes to nag the apartments handyman to fix it sooner. When she returns to her apartment her baby is gone.

Sylvie insists somebody took her baby, but the Police doubt her, making her one of the suspects. Sylvie has Attention Deficit Disorder which causes her to forget things and to become confused and the police think it might be to blame. Sylvie tries to prove she is innocent, will she find her baby or will she find the horror really lies with herself? You'll have to watch to find out!

    Sleepwalking filmmaking

Deeply average thriller. Tracey Gold churns out her 18th TV-movie role in 19 years as a mother who is stunned to find herself the chief suspect in a police investigation into her own baby's disappearance. Her family suggest that her Attention Deficit Disorder may be to blame. The archetypal friendly detective helps her to prove it. Mulholland Falls bit-parter Kyle Chandler and Melrose Place regular Thomas Calabro co-star.
