Deadly Sins

Jack Gales: [Private investigator Jack Gales has returned to his apartment with Cristina, a novice nun he's been working on a case with and the two are about to do something very sinful. The pair are kissing on Jack's bed and sex can't be far behind, but Jack suddenly applies the brakes on this development] Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I can't do this. Oh God, I was doing so good. Staying off the sauce, staying away from women, and now look... I'm kissing a nun. I can't do this. You can't do this.

Cristina: [not the least bit ashamed] Jack, I have a confession to make.

Jack Gales: Yeah, you're telling me.

Cristina: [she begins to remove her wimple] Er... I'm not really a nun.

Jack Gales: Yeah, but that's just a technicality.

Cristina: [grins] No, I mean I'm not really a nun.

[with her wimple gone her hair falls to her shoulders, and we can see that Cristina is really quite beautiful]

Jack Gales: [intrigued] Who are you?

Cristina: [now she removes her crucifix from around her neck, tired of being the good little girl] I'm a private investigator hired by the church.

Jack Gales: Since when?

Cristina: For the past three months. I started two runaways ago. The Archdiocese was very concerned.

Jack Gales: Why didn't somebody tell the sheriff?

Cristina: Oh, they did tell the sheriff but he didn't care. I mean he hated the nuns as much as everyone else did.

Jack Gales: Why'd you lie to me?

Cristina: Because Jack... there is a killer on the loose.

[she starts to go down on Jack]

Cristina: The less people who knew who I was... the better.

Jack Gales: Wait a second. Are you saying I was a suspect?

Cristina: [bored of talking] Can we talk about this later?

[this time he gives into her, and the two kiss until they begin to make love]
