Michael J. Fox was a heartthrob back in the ’80s and ’90s thanks to his many memorable roles in the Back To The Future series, Teen Wolf, The Hard Way, Life with Mikey, and more. The actor’s memorable performances and down-to-earth personality earned him a huge fan following.
Hence, many hearts across the world were broken when he revealed his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 1998. However, the actor had been secretly fighting the progressive degenerative disorder for seven years at that point. Despite his disease, the actor appeared in many hit projects throughout the 2000s and 2010s. He was a regular in the CBS drama series The Good Wife which aired from 2010 to 2016.
However, in 2020, the star announced his retirement from onscreen work. The decision came due to Parkinson’s impacting his ability to memorize and remember lines. Now, four years later, he is willing to return to acting under one sole condition.

The 10 Things I Hate About You cast probably didn’t know it then, but the actors in the 1999 teen rom-com would get their breakout role. In the 25 years since its release, 10 Things I Hate About You has become a cult classic and a career highlight for its actors.
On the surface, 10 Things I Hate About You doesn’t sound like a recipe for success. A William Shakespeare play reworked into a teen comedy featuring a cast of mostly unknown actors? Critics didn’t fall head over heels for it in 1999, but the movie’s appeal has grown over time and attracted new generations of fans (even if sequel plans failed). And if the 10 Things I Hate About You cast was unknown then, now there is no mistaking the talent of stars like Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Outside of "Back to the Future" and "Teen Wolf," Michael J. Fox has found limited success on the big screen. Especially during the 1990s.
The once and future Marty McFly probably wishes he had a time machine to un-happen "Life With Mikey" or "Greedy," two of the most questionable films on a resume full of them. The '90s were not kind to Fox, which is kinda fitting since his films weren't too kind to audiences.
But we love the guy, and it's with love (ish) that, in honor of "Teen Wolf" turning 30 this week, we rank Fox's most questionable films from the '80s and '90s -- ranked from best to worst.

Although he’s more normally known for his theatre work, Into The Woods writer James Lapine does have some history behind the camera, though his last directorial job was 1993’s Life With Mikey. He’s back for a courtroom drama called Custody, which will star Viola Davis and Catalina Sandino Moreno.Custody, as you might predict from that title, sees Davis as the judge overseeing an emotional custody case, which finds Moreno desperate to keep her children. And, somewhat understandably given the fraught conditions of the case, Davis’ official finds it’s taking an emotional toll on her. According to The Wrap, there’s no set start date for Lapine and the film, although he’s written the script and is ready to get back to directing. It will likely have to wait for everyone’s schedule to clear up, particularly as Davis is about to start work on David Ayer...
