- The original theatrical, earlier home video and earlier TV airings (including the 1994 ABC airing) had the 1984 Warner Bros. logo at the beginning at the end, post-2003 prints had the 1999 CGI variant and fanfare at the beginning and the 2001 closing variant, both with the 2003 TimeWarner byline.
- Post-2010 prints had also adding the 75th anniversary of the final 20th Century Fox logo at the end following the 2001 closing variant of Warner Bros. logo.
- As of 2012, all UK home video versions are cut for violence, although the video is slightly more edited than the DVD. The workshop fight loses Ryback slashing a thug's thigh, causing it bleed heavily, before Ryback stabs him in the armpit. The death of the thug who dies in the band-saw is re-edited after Ryback pushed the thug onto the work surface. Ryback kneeing the villain in the groin and the blade cutting into his shoulder has been edited, so the thug now appears to fall onto the band-saw and die off-screen. In the DVD, some of the kneeing action is restored. Ryback ripping out a man's larynx is also removed entirely, and the final confrontation removes the shot of Strannix's bloody eye socket after Ryback gouges it.
- German retail VHS and DVD were cut for violence to secure a "Not under 16" rating. Cuts include the man shoved on the bandsaw and the eye gouging in the final fight. This version was also broadcast on TV. Only in 2002 the uncut version was released on DVD (with a "Not under 18" rating).
- The version for Finnish theatrical and video release was heavily censored. The actual impact of most bullets was not shown. All fights involving knives were either heavily edited or removed entirely. Most notably: the scene in which a man is cut across his leg, then stabbed under his arm, was removed, along with that of a man being shoved into a bandsaw; the scene where Ryback rips out a man's larynx was cut out; the fight at the end between Ryback and Strannix did not show the eye gouge sequence nor did it show the head stabbing. The scene involving nudity was also cut.
