Peter Becker tries to reach his teacher Elisabeth Meinhart, but no one picks up the phone. There is a family dispute with the Richters. Heiko's parents argue loudly. Father Clemens packs his bags the same evening and leaves the house. Peter is worried and passes by Mrs. Meinhart. In front of her door he meets Elke Opitz. Together they break open the door and find Elisabeth Meinhart unconscious and save her. Tina, Peter and Patrick introduce themselves to various employers. When Peter comes home in the evening, his father accuses him of having stolen money and threatens with beatings. But Peter swore never to be beaten again.

Patrick visits Tina and makes her a promise. Due to his father's relationships, it is no problem to make her a top model. Heiko Richter, meanwhile, takes care of his mother, who has depression. She meets Clemens Richter, who wants to talk to Vera. The planned 'reconciliation' ends in new quarrels. Elke makes an appointment with Julia. She wants to know more about their job.

Mrs. Meinhart wants to contact Peter Becker, who now has no place to stay with the Richters. She asks her acquaintance Mrs. Gerlach to contact the boy. The only clue is the address of a woman landlord, who allegedly arranged the baby swap at the time. But the address is no longer correct. The current resident does not know where the former tenants have moved. Frank has an appointment with Patricia to play golf. Tina is angry because he moves her because of it.

Frank invited Patricia Koller for dinner. Tina, who "is allowed" to be there with Heiko, feels obliged to prepare the dinner. She is offended when Frank comes home with ready-made food from the party service. The evening does not go according to her wishes, Heiko talks to Patricia, and Tina feels superfluous; Elke meets Michael Döring. She explains to him that she left school because of his reenactments; Daniel falls unconscious during a phone call with Claudia in his office. Fortunately, Patrick Graf is on the spot. She hopes to marry him in a few months. Peter visits Mrs. Meinhart. They come to terms with each other, and the teacher promises to help her former student find a job. At Ullrichs, the house blessing has been restored. Tina and Patricia get along well. Denise bursts into the cozy atmosphere. She asks Frank to abort her child.

Tina gets a job as a receptionist at 'Sports Unlimited - Sport total'. The company turns out to be a porn-shop whose boss is Mr. Smythe. Vera wants to divorce Clemens when she gets the house.

Michael Döring contacts Elke. Heiko, Tina and Peter are still looking for Mrs. Wirt. Finally, they have to learn that Mrs. Wirt died two years ago.

She insults the driver without suspecting that it is the great Löpelmann himself.

Marina works on Peter so that she can get her job in the cafeteria back. He softens.

Jessica Naumann has dragged Mrs. Meinhart back to the club. Clemens and Vera argue with their son. Heiko has no desire to turn a good face into an evil game for Mr. Löpelmann and to pretend to him a healthy family world. Patrick insists that Daniel stole his idea for the commercial. Elke ended up in Lilo Gottschick's office. The sophisticated businesswoman speaks to the naive girl with angelic tongues.

Elke is allowed to buy new clothes at Lilo's expense. But how is she supposed to explain to Mrs. Meinhart and the others where she got the money for the clothes? Lilo reassures her that Elke should look for an alibi job during the day. She finds it too, in Peter's cafeteria. Elke survives her first 'rendezvous' with a customer nervously, but unscathed. Peter wants to make his cafeteria a hit and also presents the menu in the nearby agency Löpelmann. At Richters, preparations for the visit of the great boss are in full swing. Clemens distributes personal belongings everywhere in the apartment so that it looks as if he still lives there. Löpelmann enjoys the staging. He has long known about the Richters' divorce plans.

Peter's adoptive mother is completely done with the nerves since he moved out. He gives her some money during his visit and runs away before Erwin comes home. At the Richters, Peter meets Löpelmann, who has stayed with Clemens and Vera after dinner. Even now he proves his attachment, the two must continue to play their role of the happy couple. Peter tells Löpelmann about the plans he has for the cafeteria. This is impressed by the strong will of the young man. Denise is doing badly. She asks Bertram not to go to work. When he leaves her alone, she calls a radio show for lonely people. Bertram in the cafeteria accidentally listens to what she says about her marriage.

Peter catches his brother Berthold throwing in the window of the cafeteria. He brings him home and loudly clashes with Erwin. Claudia becomes chief secretary and moves to Oswald Löpelmann's office. Clemens now has to work with Tina, who is completely inexperienced. He is angry and treats the girl badly. This makes Claudia angry. She is offended anyway because Clemens spent the last night with his wife. Patrick generously invites Tina and Heiko to dinner to celebrate their debut in professional life. When her 'colleague' leaves with her companion, Elke stays behind. She is happy when she meets Vera and Heiko Richter in the restaurant and can let them take her with her. Her 'customer' loudly expresses his displeasure with her behavior. The next day, Elke talks to Julia and announces her decision to quit Lilo. Heiko bursts into the office and demands that Patrick keep his hands off Tina.

Heiko no longer understands the world when Tina repeats that there is an end between them. Elke Opitz wants to resign from Lilo Gottschick. The head of the agency hypocritically responds to Elke's wishes, but insists that the 14-day notice period is observed. Clemens bought shares to allow Vera and Heiko to keep the house.

Daniel happens to stop by and comfort her. Peter blames himself for the incident. Tina is with Patrick when Elke bursts in and trumpets the news of her engagement to Michael Döring. Claudia spends the weekend on Oswald Löpelmann's yacht. Contrary to her expectations, he apparently only invited her to work.

Frank has no idea that Elke is lying in the next room. She has a severe shock because Döring raped her.

Julia rings Mrs. Meinhart's doorbell because she wants to visit Elke. When she hears that the girl has disappeared, she asks Lilo Gottschick about her. She washes her hands in innocence. Things are going well at the Löpelmann agency. Patrick is very busy to wiping out customers. No one knows where Clemens is. Daniel confronts Patrick and talk him into his conscience about his intrigues. His words almost did it. But Tina persuades Patrick that Daniel is just jealous of his fast career. Claudia consolidates her position in the agency by officially becoming Löpelmann's lover. Clemens reappears and resigns without notice. The situation between Michael and Elke escalates dramatically. She reaches for paper scissors.

Clemens Richter shows up at Vera and Heiko and informs them that he has resigned from Löpelmann. His family is very understanding, but then Daniel shows up to pick up Vera. Löpelmann wants Clemens back, but only on the condition that he begs on his knees for his old job. So Löpelmann spins a web of intrigues so that Clemens doesn't get a chance at any other agency. Elke has now recovered enough that she can be interrogated. The lawyer expects a murder charge against her.

Mrs. Meinhart discovers in Elke's handbag a large sum of money and the business card of Lilo Gottschick; Peter has fallen in love with Julia, but she turns him down.

Peter is not so quick to be wiped away by Julia. He suspects that she has problems and wants to help her; Bertram receives an offer from the glider instructor to work as a fitter in his car workshop. The salary is not very high, but Bertram hopes to maybe get flying lessons. Denise is not enthusiastic about these prospects; Elke makes a confession to the police. Although she cannot remember the events of the night, she is convinced that she killed Michael Döring. Then a witness appears who claims to have seen her at the time of the crime.

He claims to the police that he was in a park with Elke at the time in question; Clemens tells Vera about his hopeless efforts to find a job again. But Löpelmann waves a key. It's the 'Open, Sesame!' for his New York office that will turn Claudia into a thriving agency. She is happy. Peter is interrogated again by the police. The inspector tells him on the head that he lied all the time.

The old Löpelmann is furious when he learns of Tina's contacts with the old earl. He wants to kick her out. When Annette leaves Elke alone for a few minutes, Lilo Gottschick appears. She pushes the girl into a corner of the room and chokes her. But Annette is back faster than expected and intervenes.
