- The anatomical terms "testicles" and "spread-eagle" are each said once in reference to interrogation techniques. Also "balls" is said once in regards to masculinity.
- Ingrid and Paul are shown to be in a sexual relationship--in one scene, they are shown waking up together in bed.
- An adult magazine sits on a desk, probably showing female nudity; this is laying at a foreshortened angle and onscreen only for a second.
Violence & Gore

- At the very beginning of the film, two men describe how they were tortured. Shortly thereafter, some graphic torture methods are discussed at a press conference.
- A man is shot at close range. Some blood spray is shown.
- A woman is forcibly arrested and dragged from her home (a scene that some may find disturbing).
- A man is abducted and forced into a van (his violent death is later explained).
