Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1990)

Trivia

Parker Lewis Can't Lose

Edit
During a rally in one of the episodes, someone had a sign that read "Thank you for not watching Eerie, Indiana (1991)" a show that ran in the same time slot on another network (NBC).
Between "Parker Lewis'" first and second seasons, Taj Johnson and Abraham Benrubi worked as roadies for No Doubt's first American tour.
When the students showed up with signs at a rally to greet a visiting alumnus, one sign read, "Thank you for not watching Hull Hugh." Hull High (1990) was NBC's high school show, on opposite this show.
In the Season One episode Saving Grace (1990), when Principal Musso was fired and replaced, Dr. Pankow, the new principal played by Gerrit Graham, asked Maia Brewton's character Shelly Lewis what her name is. Not wanting the principal to know she is related to Parker, she told the principal her last name was "Nemec". Corin Nemec played the part of Parker Lewis.
Starting in season 3, the words "Can't Lose" were dropped from the show's title, making the name of the show simply "Parker Lewis".

Cameo

David Faustino: In the episode "Musso and Frank", claiming that Frank had given him detention even though he went to a different school, Polk High. This is the high school his character Bud attends in Married... with Children (1987). There is a debate of whether this is actually supposed to actually be Bud or Faustino playing himself.
Robert Zemeckis: As a documentary filmmaker in the Season 2 episode Rock 'n' Roles (1991). Karen Fineman, who plays rock star Jezebel, refers to him sarcastically as "Steven Spielberg". He is wearing a baseball cap with the logo for Back to the Future Part III (1990), which Zemeckis directed and co-wrote.
