- This movie is basically a spoof of Tango and Cash. The two main characters, however, are not police officers but two rivals gay beutiticians who were brought together by circumstances.
To Have and Have Not (1944)
Catherine, talking to Tango says: "Don't you know how to use a doorbell? Just stick out your finger and push." This is an adaptation of Lauren Bacall's line to Humphrey Bogart in "To Have and Have Not", where she says to him: "You know how to whistle, don't you? You just put your lips together and blow."
