The role of the Bear Creature was actually played by costume designer Lucas Gunn.. He worked on several aspects of the costumes used in the movie, but this was his very first creature design. As such he wanted to play the extra role of the creature (a very short role to be sure). After the movie released, the part in which the bear creature's head is toyed with by the twins became a fan favorite, spawning several common references in internet memes etc.

In August 29, 2019, the film was exhibited in Gijón, Asturias (Spain) as part of the 21st edition of the film festival Peor Imposible (Worse Impossible), which is dedicated to Z movies.
