Jewels And Fools
As some close in on Doug III (Peyton Meyer), only one knows his true agenda: Leo (Greg Rikaart). While Leo decided he would do right by Salem’s late patriarch after learning that his namesake stole the necklace, Julie has been insistent that Doug III is a miracle.
Meanwhile, after the Vancouver crew returned to Salem, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) found herself with reemerging feelings for JJ (Casey Moss), while Cat took off before anything between her and Chad (Billy Flynn) could even begin to bloom.

MCU has quite a slate of projects to be released in the next 2 years. Fans are naturally most excited about the upcoming two ‘Avengers’ movies – ‘Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars.’
Not much is known about these movies except for the fact that Robert Downey Jr. will be returning, but not as Iron Man. This time the actor will don a different kind of mask – that of the villain – Doctor Doom.
During this year’s Sdcc Russo brothers were confirmed to direct the movie, and over the last several week they did shed some light on the upcoming installment. We know that the movies won’t be filmed back-to-back, and that ‘Secret Wars’ storyline would be adapted as close as possible to the original comic storyline.
Joe Russo revealed that he wouldn’t return to the MCU without a really good reason, revealing that ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ set for release on May 1, 2026, is...

Parting is such sweet sorrow. After more than a decade of laughter, thrills, and some great tunes, James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy" trilogy has finally coming to an end. The live-action cinematic adventures of Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel) will close out with "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," launching into theaters on May 5, 2023, and audiences should be prepared to bring tissues. Gunn has promised that the trilogy-ender is a real tear-jerker, because some of the Guardians are going to end up six feet under.
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" will follow the Guardians on their own for the first time since the tragic events "Avengers: Endgame", and they'll be battling the High Evolutionary (the eternally excellent Chukwudi Iwuji), an evil scientist who probably had something to do with Rocket's experimental and painful origin.

While variants have become important to the McU's Multiverse Saga, several already appeared during Avengers: Endgame, the climactic adventure of the Infinity Saga. In the wake of Thanos' attack on the universe in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Marvel Studios has blown open the concept of the multiverse, introducing Kang the Conqueror as the new major villain of the MCU across multiple different realities. Alongside the multiverse, versions of characters from other realities have made their way to the MCU, including the likes of Sylvie, a female variant of Loki, Doctor Strange and the Illuminati of Earth 838, and the Scarlet Witch and her children.
Before multiversal variants became commonplace in the MCU, the Infinity Saga saw the Avengers team up to battle Thanos, with the remnants of Earth 616's superhero team coming together in Avengers: Endgame to reverse the effects of Thanos' fatal snap. This plan came to fruition as the "Time Heist,...

Star Trek: Voyager may not have enjoyed a full-on revival yet, but many of its beloved characters have appeared in modern Star Trek projects set after the show's finale. The USS Voyager spent seven years trapped in the Delta Quadrant, millions of light years away from home. Low on resources but high on Federation idealism, the crew simultaneously looked for a quicker way home while carrying out the Starfleet mission by exploring the new, uncharted region of space.
Voyager finally made it home in the series finale "Endgame," where Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) got an unintended assist from the Borg to get her people back to Earth. The series concluded with the ship arriving at Earth, and there was no direct follow-up chronicling what happened next for the Voyager crew. However, the modern crop of Star Trek shows has featured much of the ship's crew, in both lead and supporting roles,...

One moment in Hawkeye on Disney+ might have explained War Machine's mission in Marvel Studios' upcoming Armor Wars project. Originally billed as a series for Disney+, Armor Wars was announced to be reworked as a feature-length film in September 2022, marking the first solo outing on the big screen for Don Cheadle as James "Rhodey" Rhodes in the MCU. While not much is known about Armor Wars' storyline, the film will likely be adapted from the 1987 "Armor Wars" storyline in Marvel Comics' Iron Man, and it seems as though Marvel Studios has already begun to tease War Machine's future adventure during the McU's Phase 4.
In the comics, the Armor Wars storyline features Tony Stark finding out that various criminals had used his stolen designs to develop advanced technology of their own, leading him to track them down and retrieve the stolen tech. The McU's Armor Wars will replace Iron Man...

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an enigma—a wild swing from Marvel Studios that has put an almost inordinate amount of pressure on director Peyton Reed’s shoulders. Not only has the filmmaker been tasked with delivering a serious, tone-changing sequel to two of the MCU’s funniest (and arguably most overlooked) movies, but also launching the next phase in the Multiverse Saga by introducing a new Thanos-level threat to mass audiences. Considering how much is on the line, it’s no exaggeration to call Quantumania the most important Marvel movie since Avengers: Endgame. Not bad for the little guy…
If you’ve not been closely following Marvel’s every move, you may be surprised to find that studio head Kevin Feige has put so much weight behind an Ant-Man movie. After all, Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp were both palette-cleansers following major Avengers instalments, acting as comedic...

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania continues Scott Lang's MCU journey. Picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Scott wants to make up for the time he lost while stuck in the Quantum Realm. However, his family including his now teenage daughter Cassie Lang, are pulled into the Quantum Zone. As they try to figure out how to get back home, they discover a new threat: Kang the Conqueror.
Peyton Reed returns to direct the third installment in Ant-Man's trilogy, the second director after Jon Watts to direct three MCU films for the same hero. While the Quantum Realm has been an important part of these heroes' stories, this will be the first movie to fully explore the strange, amazing, and dangerous miniature universe. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicks off Phase Five for Marvel and introduces the next major Avengers-level threat with Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to close the book on the current iteration of its eponymous team of space-faring misfits, capping off one of the most successful trilogies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After a lengthy and troubled production, the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie is finally set to hit theaters in May, acting as James Gunn's MCU swan song in light of his new position as the creative head of the Dcu. As such, the upcoming sequel will bring many characters' story arcs to a permanent conclusion, though it may not be the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy as a franchise.
James Gunn's teases of Guardians 3's many deaths have resulted in plenty of speculation regarding which members of the beloved team will meet their end in the upcoming film. Consequently, several actors, including Dave Bautista, who portrays Drax, have confirmed their...

Before even hitting theaters, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has broken the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline, and it isn't the first time the massive franchise has fumbled its ever-complicated history. The upcoming film, set to release on February 17th, centers around Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and his companions as they become trapped in the Quantum Realm, where they will encounter the villainous Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), setting up many of the future events within the Multiverse Saga. As such, Quantumania has been marketed as one of the most important MCU movies in recent years, though trailers suggest that the film gets certain details about the franchise's timeline incorrect.
Quantumania will heavily feature Cassie Lang, now portrayed by Kathryn Newton and her relationship with her father, Scott. A recent clip for the upcoming film showed Cassie and Scott arguing in a car over her recent use of Hank Pym's technology.

James Cameron’s blockbuster “Avatar: The Way of Water” has overtaken James Cameron’s other blockbuster “Titanic” as the third-highest grossing movie in history at the international box office.
The sci-fi sequel has now generated 1.538 million overseas, trailing only James Cameron’s other blockbuster “Avatar” (2.1 billion) and “Avengers: Endgame” (1.9 billion) in terms of international ticket sales. Cameron, unfortunately, didn’t direct “Endgame” so he’s only responsible for three of the four biggest international releases of all time.
The mega-budgeted “The Way of Water” has resonated across the globe, with 636 million at the domestic box office and 2.174 billion worldwide. On a global scale, the follow-up film ranks as the fourth-highest grossing movie in history following “Avatar” (2.92 billion), “Avengers: Endgame” (2.7 billion) and “Titanic” (2.19 billion). It’ll likely pass the global tally for “Titanic” in the next week or so. Like the original “Avatar,” ticket sales for the sequel have been fueled by Imax and 3D screens,...

Avengers: Secret Wars will bring an end to the Multiverse Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Wanda Maximoff's Scarlet Witch may have a key role to play in the final act thereof. Despite her apparent death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Scarlet Witch's destiny has yet to be fulfilled, heavily implying that she will indeed return in Phases 5 and 6 of the MCU. When she does make her inevitable return, Wanda must not only fulfill the final part of her compelling character arc but also fix a key fault in the Multiverse Saga's storytelling as the next Saga begins to unfold.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding its cosmic side with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the movie may also help to establish a new powerful cosmic team: The Annihilators. However, Warlock's MCU future may be much bigger than James Gunn and Marvel Studios are currently letting on. Secret Invasion is poised to become the most impactful MCU Disney+ series by bringing an end to the era of the Avengers. Although Marvel Studios has revealed very little about the upcoming series, which is slated to release in spring 2023, its title and comic book source material imply that it will be a vital chapter in the ongoing storyline of the MCU. Much like the original 2008 comic book storyline on which Secret Invasion is based, the upcoming Disney+ show may be sowing the seeds for the end of the Avengers as Earth's Mightiest Heroes are replaced with a newer, far darker team.
The story of the McU's Secret Invasion show is inspired by Brian Michael Bendis' comic book event of the same name, which depicted the Earth under a clandestine Skrull invasion. In both the comics and the show, the shapeshifting aliens are able to infiltrate Earth over the course of many years,...

The introduction of Tom Holland's Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe ruined Iron Man 3's Harley Keener's future. The MCU got an unexpected surprise in 2015 when Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures agreed to a deal to share Spider-Man. Tom Holland was cast and thrust into the MCU for Captain America: Civil War. It marked the first of six appearances that Holland would make in as many years, which helped establish Spider-Man as one of the McU's biggest and most important characters. One of the keys to his development and place in the larger Infinity Saga narrative was his relationship with Tony Stark.
The MCU infused Spider-Man and Iron Man's stories together throughout Phase 3, establishing a mentee/mentor and even a son/father relationship between Peter Parker and Tony Stark. This narrative decision is why Spider-Man and Iron Man were featured together in four consecutive appearances and the key emotional moments of each.

Avengers: Secret Wars has the opportunity to correct a big MCU mistake, given its storyline in the comics. Secret Wars is planned to be the final movie in the Multiverse Saga - the current era of the MCU that began after Avengers: Endgame. The multiverse has provided the opportunity to reintroduce forgotten familiar characters more easily, such as bringing back a variant of Loki on Disney+ and dragging multiple Spider-Men into the MCU. The downside is that if characters can be brought back so simply, death doesn't carry much weight. If anyone can be replaced with a near-identical version, there are no stakes when a beloved character is in danger.
In the Marvel comics, 2015's "Secret Wars" heavily featured the danger of multiverse incursion events. This threat was introduced to the MCU by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where dreamwalking would cause two or more universes to collide,...

Warner Bros./New Line’s “Don’t Worry Darling” is finally hitting theaters this weekend with a low break-even point and a good chance to turn a modest profit at the box office — but it also faces weak reviews and one of the most turbulent marketing campaigns in recent memory.
Independent projections have Olivia Wilde’s thriller starring pop star Harry Styles and Florence Pugh opening to 18 million to 20 million, with Warner Bros. projecting a 17 million start from 4,000-plus locations. With a reported budget of 20 million, it should be easy for this film to make back its money even with a marketing spend highlighted by a splashy premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
But how well it performs depends on a lot of unknown factors. Styles, who has had small roles in films like “Dunkirk,” is an unproven draw as a lead film star despite his massive popularity as a singer...

After months of pandemic-wary patrons and tepid numbers, this year of recovery for the domestic box office is at least going out with a bang. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” webbed up a truly mind-boggling $121.5 million on Friday from 4,336 locations, putting itself on the path toward a projected $242 million opening weekend.
That’s a performance the likes of which haven’t been seen since 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame,” which hit a $156.7 million opening day, months before the world had even heard about Covid-19. Not only is “No Way Home” the first pandemic-era film to surpass the $100 million mark in its first weekend of release, but its success outmeasures the parameters of a pandemic-era box office in general. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has effectively kept its plot details covered under a magic cloak of secrecy, but the time for touting approaches, especially as its direct predecessor, Spider-Man: No Way Home, hits theaters this weekend. Consequently, a tradition for Marvel Cinematic Universe tentpole pictures has just been fulfilled with a grand unveiling of the 2022-scheduled sequel’s tie-in toys, providing previews of unseen characters and costumes.
Hasbro Toys is now teasing the Marvel Legends 6” scale action figure line’s wave of tie-in toys for Multiverse of Madness. Among the various surprises, the preview provides a potentially profound revelation with a build-a-figure of Rintrah, a somewhat obscure green Minotaur-like sorcerer from the pages of Marvel’s Doctor Strange comics, seemingly brought to live-action glory for the movie, as the plastic suggests. Oddly enough, Elizabeth Olsen’s returning post-WandaVision Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch is nowhere to be found in this wave.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline was hard to keep track of before a universe-changing event occurred in Avengers: Endgame, prompting the main chronology of the series to skip five years ahead mid-movie. Now we’re on the other side of “the Blip,” and the five-year time jump it prompted, but what does that mean for the latest MCU movies and TV shows, including Spider-Man: No Way Home? Let’s break it down, year by year.

Like so many, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers grew up loving Spider-Man — from the animated TV series to the action figures to, as they became adults, Sam Raimi’s live-action movies starring Tobey Maguire. But when the screenwriting team were recruited to work on 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” starring Tom Holland, roughly six weeks before production, their attention wasn’t on the web-slinger. It was on the film’s villain, Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton).
“I think everyone knew that the villain needed some help,” says Sommers. “We definitely worked on that quite a bit.”
Thankfully, McKenna and Sommers’ efforts on “Homecoming” ended up becoming a five-year odyssey with the friendly neighborhood web-slinger. They’re the sole credited screenwriters on 2019’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and the hotly anticipated “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which opens worldwide Dec. 17 and aims to bring at least this chapter of Peter’s journey to a close.

This article contains spoilers for Marvel’s Hawkeye episode 4, as well as potential spoilers for future episodes and the wider MCU.
With two episodes left, Hawkeye has a lot of ground left to cover. With two episodes left, Hawkeye has a lot of ground left to cover. The two archers not only have to get Clint home to his family by Christmas, but they also have to contend with the Tracksuit Mafia, Echo, probably the Kingpin, a murder mystery, Black Widow, and whatever surprises are going on with Kate’s mother and Jack. Exclusive: Sony/Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home is activating mega presales in international box office markets. Due to begin offshore rollout on December 15, just ahead of domestic’s December 17 debut, the Jon Watts-directed installment has set all-time records in multiple markets for the first 24 hours, and has caused some ticketing websites to crash. We’ve heard tell of fans heading to local cinemas to stand in line for advance buys when they couldn’t get them online.
Awaited with a fever pitch, the Tom Holland-starrer, for example, took $7M in Mexico during the first 24 hours tickets were available last week. That’s a new milestone, coming in 40% above Avengers: Endgame. Other markets to score the best-ever presales in the first full day include the UK, Spain, Brazil and Central America.

With so many Marvel Cinematic Universe movies to watch and so many yet to be released, it’s easy to lose track of where your favorite Avenger is, or how they got there! If you haven’t been keeping up with Tom Holland’s MCU journey as Peter Parker as much as you wanted to, or even if you’re just getting started with his MCU antics, we’ve got a handy guide to your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man that will help you watch all his incredible adventures to date in the right order.
Let’s start at the beginning…
Captain America: Civil War
Though Peter Parker’s existence was referenced at the end of 2015’s Ant-Man, he didn’t appear in the MCU in person for the first time until Captain America: Civil War in 2016. A young Tom Holland was added to the cast of the ensemble film as Spider-Man...

One of the first things you notice when watching the new Marvel series Hawkeye is the time and place in which it is set.
The show is located in New York City, and the time is some point after the events of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far from Home — meaning it’s taking place at the end of either 2024 or 2025, since the former took place in 2023 and the latter in the summer of 2024. And yes, we said “the end” of whichever year it’s in, because as one can glean pretty quickly, Hawkeye takes place just a few days before Christmas.
Yes, for the first time since 2013 — when Iron Man 3 was the first and, to date, last entry to take place during this part of the year — a Marvel Cinematic Universe story is set at Christmas time.

The Wheel of Time is off and running for Prime Video.
The highly-anticipated TV adaptation launched last week with a three-episode bow on the streaming service, and it had solid numbers.
“We can firmly say that Wheel of Time was the most-watched series premiere of the year and one of the Top 5 series launches of all time for Prime Video,” Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said in a statement to Deadline.
While the streamer touts The Wheel of Time as the biggest premiere of the year for the service, Prime Video did not release any viewership statistics.
The closest we got was Jennifer saying that "there were tens and tens of millions of streams" for the fantasy drama within its first three days of launch/
Salke did reveal that the U.S., India, Brazil, Canada, France, and Germany are the top countries for the show so far.

The Law & Order revival has enlisted another original star.
Anthony Anderson has been cast in the 21st season of the series, which is picking up where the previous season concluded in 2010.
Anderson played Detective Kevin Bernard on 50 episodes of the original series, from 2008-10.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anderson has signed a deal to appear in one season of the revival, so he might be back to wrap up Kevin's storylines.
No other original stars have officially signed up to appear on the series, which will be paired with spinoffs Svu and Organized Crime.
Anderson is currently starring on ABC's black-ish, which is set to return for its eighth and final season on January 4.
Hugh Dancy has also joined the cast, but no details have been revealed about his character.
Burn Notice alum Jeffrey Donovan also landed a series regular role earlier this month.

When you look at the original Marvel Cinematic Universe roster of the Avengers, five of the six team members have had solo films — or in the case of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America, multiple standalone efforts, while Black Widow and the Hulk have had one apiece. The only one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to not get his own big-screen adventure? Hawkeye.
Super-archer Clint Barton — played in five MCU films by Jeremy Renner — was originally slated to get his own spotlight movie. But somehow over the course of several years, the idea morphed into a TV show, focusing on the relationship between Barton and the newly introduced Kate Bishop, a young woman who eventually takes up the Hawkeye mantle.

"It was never just a heist!" Time for something truly epic. You've heard of Marvel marathons, you've heard of supercuts, but what if you took every MCU movie to date and put them together into one extraordinarily epic supercut? Yes. Someone did this. A Reddit user called "pizzabryon" has put together and illegally fan-released this supercut which he has dubbed simply The Infinity Saga. Another fan already tried to edit everything together in what is known as "The Sacred Timeline Cut" (a reference to "Loki" and the timeline with all the MCU events), but this one is slightly different. The Infinity Saga takes "every MCU movie from Iron Man to Endgame" (23 in total) and has re-edited everything into chronological scene order. Meaning, whatever year that scene took place, has been put into order that way, including flashbacks and time travel stuff (he says "anything that didn’t involve or show...

Hawkeye and Avengers: Endgame executive producer Trinh Tran never doubted whether Clint Barton/Hawkeye’s Endgame storyline warranted further exploration. Instead, it was a question of which medium was best suited to tell the street-level story of Jeremy Renner’s Avenger and his quest to get home in time for Christmas. Tran, along with her fellow Marvel Studios producers, quickly realized that the Hawkeye project would benefit creatively if it transitioned from the feature film side of the studio to the newly-established Disney+ side.

The arrival of Disney+ series Hawkeye will have Marvel Cinematic Universe archer Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) dealing with the implications of his post-Snap international vigilante spree as Ronin, which made him enemies among the world’s conventional criminals. Yet, rather than hit up one (or all) of his super-powered Avengers contacts, he instead relies solely on the help of an upstart fangirl and would-be arrow-apprentice in Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). This leads to a rather obvious question, which Marvel’s Kevin Feige now addresses.
Indeed, while we’ve been seeing Disney+ Marvel television shows entangle Avengers members in a variety of personal struggles, Hawkeye appears to have uniquely grounded stakes. This is especially clear when remembering that Barton, who helped save the universe from freaking Thanos and his intergalactic army in Avengers: Endgame, now finds himself in New York City during the Christmas season fending off neighborhood street toughs in matching red tracksuits,...

Few actors have dominated movie screens in quite the same fashion as Scarlett Johansson, who will receive the 35th annual American Cinematheque Award on Nov. 18. The American Cinematheque will be honoring Participant Media with its inaugural Power of Cinema Award.
Able to bounce back and forth between massive worldwide blockbusters and critically acclaimed independent productions, the Oscar-nominated Johansson landed Academy consideration for 2019’s “Marriage Story” and “Jojo Rabbit,” and has cemented herself as one of the most iconic women on the screen, making her a natural fit for the honor. Upcoming is the animated “Sing 2” in which she voices Ash, the female crested porcupine, one of the main characters of the toon.
Having done comedy, romance, action-spectacle, and nearly everything else in between, she never pigeonholed herself into one genre, opening herself up to various cinematic possibilities.

Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao’s intergalactic adventure is the lowest-rated Marvel film to date but the series is set to continue
Way back in 2008, a little movie named Iron Man introduced us to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Debuting the same year as Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, it featured many of the same themes as the Batman sequel: a rich, flawed superhero protagonist who relies on technology rather than superpowers to fight the bad guy; living, breathing, human villains to be taken down, and a neo– real world setting in which the laws of nature seem to be reasonably close to those in our own reality.
But while Nolan’s determination to ground his trilogy in verisimilitude barely wavered through his next and final instalment of the Dark Knight Trilogy, 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man has since been on a journey in which he fights off an alien invasion,...

Remember when Clint Barton slayed a bunch of yakuza goons in "Avengers: Endgame?" After his family got dusted in the Snapture, whereby Thanos willed half of all life out of existence, Jeremy Renner's character adopted a new identity -- that of Ronin instead of Hawkeye. He got tatted up and started speaking Japanese and wielding a samurai sword instead of a bow and arrow. When Clint returned after the time jump in "Endgame," Black Widow watched him slice and dice a yakuza boss played by Hiroyuki Sanada in Tokyo, showing how ruthless a killer he'd become.
All of that might seem slightly at odds...

“Avengers: Endgame” was widely celebrated by moviegoers across the world, but one moment during the movie’s climax got routinely called out for pandering to fans. That moment is when the majority of the franchise’s female superheroes band together for a “girl power” moment during the final battle against Thanos. It turns out Marvel executives had concerns with the scene being too pandering following “Endgame” test screenings. Such news is revealed by executive producer Trinh Tran in the new MCU behind-the-scenes book, “The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
As Tran remembers, it was a viral Twitter photo of Marvel stars such as Zoe Saldana, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Tessa Thompson and more that “spurred collective talk” at Marvel of bringing the MCU’s female superheroes together. It was around this time that many of these actresses discussed the possibility of an all-female...

It is no surprise that Sony are expecting to have a big hit on their hands this Christmas with Spider-Man: No Way Home, and their expectations will have been given a huge boost as the Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser trailer managed to rack up a staggering 355.5 million global views in its first 24 hours, more than doubling that of Spider-Man: Far From Home and even snapping away the previous record holder Avengers: Endgame, which managed 289 million in the same time period. There are clearly a few things that have led to this achievement, but none more than the amount of times the trailer has been rumored to be imminent and then not arrived in the last few months.
Spider-Man: Far From Home was released over two years ago, coming in the wake of Endgame and pulling in over $1.1 billion at the box office, making it the most successful Spider-Man movie of all time.

Director Douglas Mackinnon, whose credits include “Doctor Who,” “Sherlock” and Neil Gaiman’s “Good Omens,” still recalls the moment he realized that London was no longer the center of the universe in terms of U.K. film and high-end TV production.
He was in his native Scotland, where he was directing a few episodes of “Outlander,” when one of the show’s executives asked what he was planning to do next. “I said, ‘I’ll probably head off to London like usual and look for work.’ And she said, ‘Oh, I’ve never been to London.”

In 2008, Marvel Studios started building something special. With the Robert Downey Jr.-led Iron Man they had a hit on their hands, and they set about constructing a cinematic universe using the film as a strong foundation.
Three years later, they would introduce Thor and Captain America by giving the characters their own solo movies, and in The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 Bruce Banner and Black Widow had joined the party. Hawkeye and Nick Fury were also being mixed into the Marvel batter, and soon the whole thing was ready to bake in 2012’s The Avengers.
For the first time, audiences got to see the Avengers teaming up on the big screen to stop their first apocalypse, and fans couldn’t get enough. Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War would follow – the latter filmed back to back with the concluding part of the Infinity Saga, Avengers: Endgame.
