- [Matrix releases Sully, who falls to his demise]
- Cindy: What did you do with Sully?
- John Matrix: I let him go

- Cindy: [hiding under a table] I can't believe this macho bullshit...
- Bennett: [after he shot Matrix] John! How's your arm John?
- John Matrix: [hidden behind a wall] Come over and find out!
- Bennett: No thanks, I think I'll take a pass. John, stick your head out, one shot, right between the eyes, I'll make it quick, just for old time sake.
- John Matrix: Bennett, stop screwing around and let the girl go, it's me that you want, I only have one arm, you can beat me!
- [Bennett laughs]
- John Matrix: [Comes out from hidden place] Come on Bennett, throw away the chicken shit gun, you don't just want to pull the trigger, you want to put the knife in me, and look me in the eye, and see what's going on in there when you turn it. That's what you want to do, right?
- Bennett: I can kill you John!

- [laughs]

- [throws Jenny away]

- [Pulls out his knife]
- Bennett: And I'll KILL YOU NOW!
- Cindy: [38:15] You steal my car, you rip the seat out, you kidnap me, you ask me to help you find your daughter which I very kindly do, and then you get me involved in a shoot out where people are dying and there's blood spurting all over the place, and then I watch you rip a phone booth out of a wall, swing from the ceiling like Tarzan, and then there's a cop that's going to shoot you and I save you and they start chasing me! Are you going to tell me what's going on or what?
- John Matrix: No.
- Cindy: [30:43] Can you tell me what this is all about?
- John Matrix: Yeah, a guy I trusted for years wants me dead.
- Cindy: That's understandable. I've only known you for five minutes and I want you dead, too.

- [after killing Henriques in the plane]

- [Cooke aims a gun at Matrix]

- [Cooke squeezes the trigger, but the gun clicks empty]

- Diaz: [13:34] Mellow out man. We can't talk business with you waving guns in people's faces. Your daughter is safe, Colonel. Whether she stays that way is up to you. My people, they got some business with you. And if you want your kid back, then you gotta cooperate, right?
- John Matrix: Wrong.
- [shoots Diaz between the eyes]
- Western Flight Attendant: [21:27] Any carry-on luggage?
- John Matrix: [pointing to Henriques] Just him.
- Henriques: [to Matrix] Open your mouth again and I'll nail it shut.
- Cindy: [41:29] You don't even have a car.
- [Matrix pushes Sully's overturned car back upright]
- John Matrix: Now I do.
- Arius: [from theatrical cut] Your father appears to be cooperating. You will be back with him soon. Won't that be nice?
- Jenny Matrix: Not as nearly as nice as watching him smash your face in.
- Bennett: John, I'm not going to shoot you between the eyes! I'm going to shoot you between the balls!
- Young Guerrilla: [1:03:23] Slitting a little girl's throat is like cutting warm butter.
- Bennett: Put the knife away and shut your mouth. I really love listening to your little piss-ant soldiers trying to talk tough. They make me laugh. If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too.
- Arius: Mr. Bennett, my soldiers are patriots.
- Bennett: Your soldiers are nothing. Matrix and I can kill every single one of them...
- [snaps his fingers]
- Bennett: In the blink of an eye. Remember that
- Arius: Are you trying to... frighten me?
- Bennett: I don't have to try. When Matrix finishes the job, he'll be back for his daughter. Now whether she's alive or dead doesn't matter. Then he'll be after you. Now the only thing between you and Matrix is me

- Biggs: [34:42] Attention all units, emergency on theater level, suspect six foot two, brown hair. He's one gigantic motherfucker!
- Bennett: [On his way to kill Jenny Matrix, and seeing explosions outside] Welcome back John! So glad you can make it!
- [Plane will not start]

- [bangs on console and the plane starts up]

- [thinks and smiles]

- Bennett: [19:29] Sully'll make sure you get on the plane, Henriques'll stay with you, make sure you get off. I don't hear from either one of 'em, she's dead.
- John Matrix: How much are they paying you, Bennett?
- Bennett: They offered me a hundred grand. You wanna know something? When I found out I could get my hands on you, I said I'd do it for nothing.
- Henriques: Hey, hold it!
- [Henriques and Sully grabs Matrix]

- Bennett: John... I'll be ready, John.
- John Matrix: [1:00:01] What's wrong?
- Cindy: This isn't a plane, this is a canoe with wings!
- John Matrix: Well then, get in and start paddling!
- John Matrix: [16:15] Bennett! I thought you were...
- Bennett: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of your unit, I've waited to pay you back.
- Bennett: Do you know what today is Matrix? Pay day!
- Bennett: [attacking Matrix with repeated punches and strikes] John, I feel good! Just like old times! What's it feel like to be a dying man? You're a dead man, John!
- John Matrix: [slow at first and then fierce] Bullshit!
- [Matrix launches a surprise attack of very fast punches and strikes on Bennett]
- Major General Franklin Kirby: [1:01:37] Call the Federal Building. Have them monitor every police, aviation, & marine channel in the area
- Soldier: What are you expecting?
- Major General Franklin Kirby: World War 3.
- [Cindy uses a rocket launcher]
- John Matrix: [57:51] Where did you learn how to do that?
- Cindy: I read the instructions.
- John Matrix: [16:15] Bennett, I thought you were...
- Bennett: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've waited to pay you back. You know what today is, Matrix?
- [Matrix doesn't say anything, he just stares at Bennett with a surprised look on his face]
- Bennett: Pay day.
- [Bennett fires a tranquilizer into Matrix's stomach. Matrix passes out almost instantly]
- [last lines]
- Major General Franklin Kirby: You thought about reinstating your team? All it would take is your coming back.
- John Matrix: This was the last time.
- Major General Franklin Kirby: [quite optimistic] Until the next time.
- [Matrix turns around and looks at him]
- John Matrix: No chance.
- [Cindy, Jenny and John board the seaplane and take off]
- John Matrix: [12:25] Keep an eye out, they'll be coming. You're downwind, the air currents might tip them off
- Jackson: Downwind?
- [looks at Matrix like he's crazy]
- Jackson: You think I could smell them coming?
- John Matrix: I did.
- Bennett: [1:11:42]
- [on his way to kill Jenny Matrix, tries to open the door, and the knob fells off, Bennett smashes the door open]
- Bennett: You little BITCH!
- Bennett: [He enters the room, saw a hole in the wall] Errr... GOD!
- Bennett: [He looks through the hole, saw Jenny fled, Bennett hurled his way through the wall to chase Jenny Matrix] Catch... YOUUUUU !
- Sully: [34:52] This place used to be good for hunting slash. It's gotten a little crowded, now. I think I found something, though.
- Major General Franklin Kirby: [19:05] Any sign of Matrix?
- Soldier: No, sir. Just those bodies. You think there's more, sir?
- Major General Franklin Kirby: If he's still alive, I'd expect a lot more.
- Major General Franklin Kirby: [10:21] Jenny, I need to talk to your dad, OK?
- Jenny Matrix: Yeah. Got a warrant?
- Major General Franklin Kirby: [sarcastically] Very funny.
- Major General Franklin Kirby: John, we've got a problem. Someone's killing your men.
- John Matrix: You gave them new identities.
- Major General Franklin Kirby: There must have been a leak. Lawson, Forrestal, Bennett... they've all been hit.
- John Matrix: Who's doing it?
- Major General Franklin Kirby: You've made enemies all over the world, John. It could have been the Syrians, the South Americans, the Russians, or a terrorist group. They're going to find you.
- John Matrix: We were going to make a normal life here.
- Major General Franklin Kirby: You will, I promise. I'm going to coordinate with the federal people. We'll nail those bastards before they get close to you.
- [John Matrix, fully restrained in chains, comes out of sedation from being tranquilized. Bennett, Sully, Henriques, and despotic former dictator Arius are staring down at him]
- Bennett: [16:55] Tranquilizers.
- [lunges at him menacingly]
- Bennett: I wanted to use the real THING!
- John Matrix: Where's Jenny?
- [to his shock, John sees Arius]
- Arius: [Hispanic voice] You remember me, Colonel?
- John Matrix: I remember you, scumbag! Especially the people you've tortured and killed!
- Arius: Colonel Matrix, you do not understand a country like Val Verde. It is a country that needs a president who has an understanding of discipline.
- John Matrix: Why tell me?
- Arius: Because you're going to return to Val Verde and you are going to kill the president that you helped to overthrow me.
- John Matrix: Why don't you have Bennett do it? Sounds like something he would get off on.
- Arius: Because President Velasquez trusts you, Colonel. After all, he made you the hero of the revolution. Why, Captain Bennett left, shall we say, uh, under a cloud. Yes?
- John Matrix: Yeah, 'cause he enjoyed killing a little TOO much.
- Bennett: Your training, Matrix.
- Arius: You can get close to President Velasquez. You will kill him. You know, Colonel, we went to a lot of trouble to find you.We had to pretend Captain Bennett's death so that General Kirby would become agitated and lead us to you, and now that I have you, you will do exactly as I tell you.
- John Matrix: Fuck you.
- [Bennett walks to the door panel. Sully twist John's head to the left. Bennett opens the door and John sees Cooke, one of Arius' henchmen, rolling out Jenny, tied up and restrained in a chair]
- Jenny Matrix: [muffles in tears] Daddy!
- John Matrix: [shocked] Jenny!
- [Sully and Cooke draw their guns whilst Bennett puts his knife right to Jenny's neck]
- John Matrix: Oh, you bastards!
- Arius: Colonel Matrix, if you kill President Velasquez, I will send her back to you. If you try anything else, I will mail her to you in pieces.
- Arius: [17:02] Do you remember me, Colonel?
- John Matrix: I remember you, scumbag! Especially the people you've tortured and killed!
- Arius: [from director's cut] Your father appears to be cooperating. You will be back with him soon. Won't that be nice?
- Jenny Matrix: Not nearly as nice as watching him kick your ass.
- John Matrix: Come on, Bennett, throw away that chicken-shit gun. You don't just want to pull a trigger. Put the knife in me and look me in the eye and see what's going on in there when you turn it.
