- Joe Camber: You better watch it, Pervier.
- [Joe looks down and pats Cujo]
- Joe Camber: I'll sic my dog on you.
- Gary Pervier: That dog? You couldn't sic that dog on me if I was comin' at you with a straight razor in each hand!
- Tad Trenton: [in the car] Can he get us in here?
- Donna Trenton: No.
- Tad Trenton: Can he eat his way in here? Can he?
- Donna Trenton: No.
- Tad Trenton: Wish he was dead.
- Donna Trenton: Me too.
- Donna Trenton: [singing to Tad] Five little monkeys jumping on the bed, one rolled over and the other one said, I see your hiney, it's nice and shiny, if you don't hide it, I think I'll bite it!
- [makes loud chomping noise]
- [Joe Camber has encountered Cujo in the garage. Cujo glares at him menacingly & growls]
- Joe Camber: Cujo?
- [the dog snarls again, and approaches him menacingly]
- Joe Camber: Oh my God... you're rabid!
- [Cujo barks savagely and charges at Joe. He puts his arms up to defend himself as Cujo attacks]
- Joe Camber: [yelling] No! No! Cujo!
- [the dog jumps on him & knocks him down]
- [Donna & Tad have just arrived at Joe Camber's home, but no one is around]
- Donna Trenton: Well, looks like we've arrived, Tadder.
- Tad Trenton: Yeah, but is anyone home?
- [Donna gets out of the car]
- Donna Trenton: Hello?
- Tad Trenton: I can't get my seatbelt off!
- [Donna gets back into the car & starts helping Tad trying to get the belt loose, which she finally does]
- Tad Trenton: I wish Dad would get a new car.
- Donna Trenton: So do I.
- [Cujo suddenly appears on Tad's side of the car, jumping up on the window. He barks & paws savagely at the half-open window, trying to get his head through. Donna manages to get the window rolled up, as Tad screams in horror]
- Tad Trenton: [screaming] Who let the monster out of my closet? Who let the monster out of my closet?

- [Cujo attacks the passenger side again. Unable to get in, he runs around to Donna's side & jumps up on the driver's side, barking & snarling]
- Tad Trenton: Who let the monster out of my closet? Who let the monster out of my closet?
- Donna Trenton: It's not a monster. It's not a monster. It's just a doggy -
- [Cujo attacks from the front this time, jumping up on the hood of the Pinto & snarling and barking at Donna & Tad. He paws ferociously at the windshield, but finally jumps off the car after Donna blasts the horn at him]
