Some mighty thoughts
paulkalickal24 September 2018
G Aravindan always tried to define and separate spirituality from religiousness. This movie is an absolute example. He goes deep into the psyche of some great mythological characters well known to us and brings in another dimension that may have been totally unknown to us. To be aware of Aravindan master's ambition with film making is really always important before watching his movies. In a way his larger than life characters appears to be totally familiar and 'understandable' to us. And the way he has connected man and nature is not surprising but nostalgic. Worth the Award.

Clarification of Rama's doubt
sudhakaranakhilan4 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
From the perspective of epic Ramayana, there is seems to be a lot of divisions or classifications. It is varied from place to place and race to race. Here in Kanchana Sita, Rama is tribal were some of the classifications like Wayanadan Ramayana in the Malabar region relates to. Along with Rama, Lakshmana and all the concepts of Ayodhya belongs to the jungle were all are tribal. The key concept is Rama's doubt about the chastity of Sita and his abandonment of her and later he clears her dark clouds of purity through his sons Lava and Kusha. Then along with his sons, Rama calls Sita, he calls her towards nature and nature symbolizes Sita.
