FAQ

Freaky Friday

FAQ

The object is a float tube or pontoon, a component filled with air to keep a boat or platform afloat.

No one has answered this question yet.

It's Friday the 13th. Annabel Andrews (Jodie Foster) thinks that her Mom doesn't know what it's like to be a teenager. Mom Ellen Andrews (Barbara Harris) doesn't think that Annabel knows what it's like to be an adult. At the very same moment in time, each of them wishes that they could be in each others' shoes and, in Disney fashion, they get their wishes.

Freaky Friday is based on a 1972 novel of the same name by American writer Mary Rodgers. Rodgers also wrote the screenplay for the movie. A TV version of Freaky Friday (1995) was remade in 1995, and a movie remake of Freaky Friday (2003) was released in 2003.

The opening song, I'd Like to be You for a Day, words and music by Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn, is sung by Susie Stevens-Logan, 10 years old at the time. Her vocals were multitracked, so it sometimes sounds like two females dueting.

Adenoids are lymphoid tissues situated at the very back of the nose, where the nose blends into the mouth. Enlarged adenoid tissue can obstruct airflow and affect breathing such that it affects a person's speech much like it affected the voice of Annabel's dreamboat Boris (Marc McClure). Typically, when a person undergoes a tonsillectomy, the adenoids are taken out as well.
