      According to Pamela Susan Shoop, the film's sound man had a fight with director Bert I. Gordon towards the end of the shoot and threw all of its audio tapes into the swamp. They lost everything, so the entire film had to be looped. Because of this, their voices and actions never quite mesh.

      After the survivors emerge from the swamp, there are alternating scenes in which Marilyn Fryser's (Joan Collins) white skirt is dirty, then completely clean, and then dirty again.

    Joan gets Ants in her pants

    Nowhere as near as bad as I thought it was gonna be. True it's a B movie but that's where some of it's charm lies. Joan Collins plays a property seller and she seems to be a bit of a bitch ( nothing new there then for Joan), but quickly the dream of selling property turns into a nightmare with the appearance of Giant Killer Ants. Fast paced and action packed this is a definite crowd pleaser.
