Only three Sleestak costumes existed. The production team had to merge shots and use editing tricks to make more appear on screen.

Wesley Eure's manager talked him into being billed simply as "Wesley." His full name was added when the credits were overhauled for the third season, and he went on to refer to the career move as one of the greatest embarrassments of his life.
Above the title of Kathy Coleman's 2017 autobiography "Run, Holly, Run!," there's a quote from co-star Wesley Eure. He likes to joke that he got top-billing on both the show and on her book.
The producers had a falling out with Spencer Milligan after the second season, and hastily wrote him out of the show. Series writer/producer Jon Kubichan portrayed his character (seen only from behind) in the third season opener.
