This film has nine differently edited versions of it in the U.S. with an English language dub track that are known to exist. Some of these versions are re-ordered so badly as to be completely incoherent.
One promotional gimmick used to sell the film in the U.S. was to have the theaters showing it serve "bloodcorn". This was actually regular popcorn with red food dye that had been previously poured over it.
A heavily censored version of this film used to be shown on American late night TV under the title "Evelyn Raises The Dead".
