When Sledge shoots Hooker, he falls down face-first. In the next shot, he is lying on his back.
When Sledge cocks his revolver to kill the old man, the cylinder is clearly empty, which doesn't stop him from shooting, though.
The lanterns inside the prison are modern Coleman gas lanterns, not oil lamps.
