When Tom and the Doctor are searching the warehouse for a crowbar, Tom is carrying one in some shots.
In the last scenes, as he is driving away with the three unconscious thieves in the car, Tom looks off to his right and waves to Dr. Who and his entourage. They wave back, looking also to their right, making the points of view incongruous.
(1:10:48) A Dalek with a claw arm escorts Susan, Wyler and the other prisoners down a corridor. The Doctor arrives at the other end, the shot changes and they hug. The Dalek passes by, but now has a sucker arm.
In this movie the Daleks use "rels" as time units for the bomb countdown. However, in the previous film, Dr Who And The Daleks, they use Earth time units e.g. hours, despite being on their own planet.
(31:49) After the saucer attack, there's a long-shot of the wrecked area outside and Tom can be seen creeping down the ramp to hide himself behind a supporting strut. The shot changes to the craft interior, but now Tom is back at the top of the ramp and repeats his movements to the same strut he's previously flattened himself behind.
The Dalek in the Thames does not flash its lights when addressing the Robomen, as the casing did not contain an operator.
When the workers are running away from the mine before it explodes, one of the female extras (the woman wearing the blue shawl) suddenly slows down to a relaxed stroll -- obviously thinking she's safely out of shot.
When the van rams through the ranks of blue/silver Daleks in the street, some of those knocked flying and destroyed are clearly seen to be completely empty casings.
When the red Dalek falls down the shaft, there is a very clear shot of its base with three small furniture casters (though it must be a dummy, as there is no hole for the operator's feet to protrude).
When David and the Doctor are attacked by robo-men at the river, the first robo-man falls off the bridge before David has fired a shot.
The shot of the Dalek bomb detonating is actually an unused model shot of the Dalek saucer explosion.
On the saucer Tom asks the fleeing fighters if they've seen Louise; the last person he asks is a balding man with a green satchel. Behind Tom he stumbles, his satchel hits the wall and he has to stop to collect it.
When The Doctor and David return to the rebel base after Susan and Wyler have left they are deliberately not looking the huge message that Susan chalked on the door.
The Daleks' countdown conveniently uses cardinal numbers and even spells "rels" for us.
Though the film is set in 2150, there are many anachronisms (1960s advertising posters, vintage cars and radios, clothing etc). Particularly dated is a prominent poster at Embankment station promoting the Osterley Carnival wrestling bouts featuring Tony Mancelli, Johnny Yearsley, Miguel Santos et al. with the cost of admission being shown in pre-decimal shillings. However, Dortmun's office contains a 1940s WWII poster, so perhaps the implication is that Embankment is a long-disused 'ghost station' which the rebels have appropriated as a base of operations.
Fashion seems to have not changed in 184 years, as the denizens of 2150 still dress like it's 1966. The clothes are in too good of a shape to be "hand me downs." Technological strides do not seem to have been made either.
At the beginning of the film, when on of the eyewitnesses tries to get into the TARDIS to call the police, when the TARDIS dematerialises, the eyewitness changes position slightly.
The Dalek mine is set in Bedfordshire. We see the encampment with high mountains beyond. Bedfordshire is a county of low rolling hills, with virtually no rock.
The Tardis has gone into the future and lands in the shadow of a bridge that would have spanned the Thames if everywhere hadn't been bombed. The scene behind the bridge appears to show the bombed out dome of St Pauls but across the river is the ruins of a power station. This was a matte painting of Battersea Power Station from where St Pauls wouldn't have been visible.
Dr Who and David make their way from Embankment Station to Bedford on foot. This is a distance of 50 miles, and according to Google maps would take 17 hours, even if they weren't avoiding daleks. They leave after the dalek spaceship, but even so, arrive in Bedford before the spaceship, which therefore must have averaged less than 3mph in its journey North.
Observing the Dalek saucer, the Doctor notes that it seems to be landing in the vicinity of Sloane Square. There is then a lengthy shot in which it is shown to be continuing in level flight for what must be several miles over London (with no apparent intention of landing) before we finally get a close-up of it descending.
As the Dalek flying saucer passes by, the Doctor says that it appears to be landing in Sloane Square. However they are right by Embankment station, and as Sloane Square is over 2 miles away, there is no way he can know that it is landing there, or anywhere else.
