  • Some TV versions edit the scene in which Ives is shot and killed for trying to escape over the fence.
  • Most home media releases contain a different opening logo from United Artists or MGM while others have an additional MGM logo that appears after the film.
    • The CBS/Fox VHS print had the 1982 United Artists variant.
    • The 1988 VHS and 1998 DVD uses the MGM/UA Communications Co. and the 1987 United Artists logo.
    • In the 1996 VHS, the United Artists logo is shown twice starting with the 1994 variant followed by 1987 variant.
    • The two-disc DVD featured the opening and closing MGM logos.
    • The 2012 MGM logo in addition to the closing 2012 MGM logo both appear in the Criterion Blu-ray.
    • The 2009 opening and closing MGM variants appear in the Blu-ray prints.
    • In the Australian DVD release, the 1987 United Artists logo is shown.
    • The opening and closing 2012 MGM logos appear in the Kino Lorber 4K Ultra HD except it has the short version of the former logo.
