The Night the World Exploded (1957)

Goofs

The Night the World Exploded

Edit

Revealing mistakes

When the "element 112" sample exploded inside the small globe, it was immediately and obviously followed by a blast from explosives buried in the ground under the globe.
At roughly 35:40, a small sample of element 112 is placed in a globe. Instead of melting or burning a hole in the globe, as the other samples had done, the element 112 goes directly to the explosion stage.

Miscellaneous

At 50:19

The sentence spoken by Laura Hutchinson to Dr. David Conway, with Prime Video closed captions, reads as: "In the rulebook, it says you're supposed to be with Emanuela."

What she actually says is: " . . . be with the man you love."

Boom mic visible

At about the 32 min mark the shadow of a boom mic visible upper right corner.
