After watching Shirley's performance, he went backstage and signed her. Now Hitchy's taking a chance on her, too. It's her first picture. . . .

Forsythe Taking Leave from Play to Do Movie

Hollywood, Aug. 27---John Forsythe will take an eight week leave from "Teahouse of the August Moon" to star in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Trouble With Harry," J. Trevor Story's satire, to be shot entirely in New England. John Hayes is writing the script, and it will be filmed in Vista Vision and Technicolor. Forsythe gets twice the salary he received for his last picture. Hitchcock also is importing Roland Lessafre from France for a part in "To Catch a Thief." Marlene Dietrich discovered Roland several years ago when he was a sailor on a battleship. He won the best actor award at the Venice festival in 1953 . . . .
