Richard Greene in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1955)

Trivia

The Adventures of Robin Hood

Edit
Paul Eddington played more than twenty different parts before being given the regular role of Will Scarlet.
The title song was sung by Dick James, who was later to become John Lennon and Paul McCartney's music publisher.
Archie Duncan was replaced by Rufus Cruickshank for ten episodes, after he had been injured saving two child actors from a runaway horse.
Blacklisted in Hollywood, Ring Lardner Jr. and Ian McLellan Hunter wrote almost the entire first season of this British-filmed series under a variety of pen-names. The show's British producers were fully aware of this deception, but Lardner and Hunter still changed pseudonyms every few episodes to keep the American syndication executives from asking to meet the series' writers.
This is the earliest Robin Hood series to be in existence in its entirety. The earlier series, which featured Patrick Troughton as Robin, no longer exists.
