My Alien Mother is a short film about Michael, who spends his days taking care of his ailing mother, and who deals with the insecurities and embarrassments that go along with that when you're 12 years old. Though conversations with his grandfather, Michael discovers a disturbing fact about his Mother's date of birth, which he thinks could explain why he thinks she in fact an alien. The film is set in the south during the early 1970's.
