They decide to rescue Emma from the home situation she cannot escape. Her parents have been arguing for years. Alcohol, unemployment and violence are the backdrop to Emma's life. Danny recognizes this because his own past experiences mean he can understand the pain Emma's hiding from everyone. Meanwhile, Emma is coping by escaping to a wonder-world of medieval pageantry. Her imaginary Ladies-in-Waiting, Amelia (played by Amy Sanders) and Lyndella (played by a Chatback young person), try to give her lessons in self confidence, whilst in the real world things go from bad to worse. To add to Emma's misery even her big brother Scar is stealing from her.
