- The journeys we make are the journeys we take. Meet Fleet. From the time he was a boy he's trained his mind and body for combat, in the boxing ring and out. On this night, the night of the long awaited boxing match against his old rival, Fleet has been thrown into a peculiar kaleidoscope of events that is threatening to stop him from reaching the most important fight of his career. The key is to draw from his years of training and the teachings of his mentor to make it through the challenges. But just because he has the know-how and ability doesn't mean he will succeed. Fleet knows all too well nothing worth anything comes easy. He's spent his entire life fighting in one way or another. But the variety of walls that seek to halt his journey to the big show are quite unique at every turn. So odd are some that Fleet may question the very makings of his reality. Indeed, it is now, on this strange night, that he must absolutely hold true to himself. Everything he has learned must fall into place. And his past must be remembered to make secure his future. But every obstacle, no matter how bizarre or fantastic, has one thing in common.....Fleet must fight or fall. How exactly to fight may prove the hard part. So is the plight of the determined Fleet Blackwood. Does he make it through this night, reaching the fight he's worked so hard for? Or do the challenges that await, however absurd some might seem, ultimately destroy him? Will Fleet fall? Or will he rise?

Slim quickly discovers that life in prison is divided along strict racial lines. Slim does his best to stay away out of all the racially inspired violence and stay to himself. But one of his fellow convicts KC pulls a dope fiend move that puts Slim on the enemies list of Sammytown, who is the brutal leader of the prison's white supremacist population. Slim tries his best to survive his time behind the walls, passing the time playing cards with a odd ball group of convicts, Big Mario, Eddie, and Hillbilly Kenny, Telling Jokes to break up the oppressive boredom of prison life. Then his former partner visits him in prison and tries to talk him out of the location of the money that was never recovered from their botched dope deal. Slim doesn't want anything to do with his past life or his ex-crime partner but upon his release Paulie and his old girlfriend have other plans in store for him.

- Curious about the odd, colored ponds in south San Francisco Bay, Huell visits Cargill Salt in Newark. Salt has been harvested from seawater ponds there since the Gold Rush thanks to a combination of natural conditions found in few places.

- 2010 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts, so we went to big Jamboree for all of Northern California, held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton for two days. We first camped out in the camping spots they set up, and went to a weird skit show. The next day, we tried to do a bunch of the activities there, except there was a huge line for almost everything. So we did all that we could an went to a weird concert full of Boy Scouts, terrible white rappers, and the San Francisco Boys Chorus.
