- A detective, believed to have been killed, is given a new face and identity and is armed with an artificially intelligent super car.
- Cameron Zachary, the man who ordered the death of Michael Long three years earlier, finds out Long is now going by the name of Michael Knight and sets out to destroy him once and for all, as well as get his hands on the Knight Industries Two Thousand. Meanwhile, an unsuspecting Michael is investigating the theft of a talking teddy bear toy design.
- Renowned adventurer Charlie Granger is murdered within the compounds of the Foundation. Michael and Kitt are sent to protect Granger's estranged daughter Katherine, who's locket holds the key to finding his hidden treasure.
- Michael travels to Alpine Crest posing as a skip-tracer in pursuit of a counterfeiter. There he and Kitt find out CIA is keeping an eye on a much bigger operation.

- An archaeologist being sponsored by FLAG is kidnapped after finding proof positive that a piece of land belongs to a tribe of Indians. Not surprisingly, a business man who wants to drill oil in the same area is the culprit.
- Michael investigates the death of a driver who was testing a new armored limousine and together with K.I.T.T. takes the man's place on the testing ground.
- Bonnie is given the honor of joining the Helios society, whose members all have genius level I.Q.'s. This to Devon's chagrin, who was expecting a nomination himself, but has to be content with honorary membership. However, it soon becomes clear that high ranking members of the society are planning to ensure their own survival by committing the perfect crime. For this they need to get their hands on Kitt and to get rid of its driver, Michael Knight.
- Michael joins Circus Major as Turbo Man after one of its stars meets with foul play on the trapeze. K.I.T.T. helps him perform death defying stunts as Turbo Man's 'talking flying carpet'.
- Devon loses Colonel Smythe's Pennington Ascot Regency to highway thieves. Michael's investigation leads him to a custom car show that is in the vicinity whenever there is a custom car theft.
- Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. come to the aid of some fashion designers after two of their ilk are murdered by a custom car. When Knight gets hurt by the car in question, he starts to take the case personal.
- While Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. are on a case to stop the sale of deadly chemicals, a young dancer is inadvertently killed by toxic gas. Michael becomes determined to capture the criminals behind this new poison, but they are equally adamant to get rid of Knight by feeding him their deadly concoction.
- The four members of the Curtis trustees are being murdered one at a time. Now only Devon Miles and Dr. Ian Browning are left. Michael suspects that magician Austin Templeton could be the assassin, using his magic act as an alibi in each case. Bonnie disagrees, for she has fallen for the self proclaimed sorcerer's charms.
- After giving a lift to a woman to an army base, Michael investigates her father's death and discovers a plot to sell nuclear weapons.

A young woman named Micki overhears the conspirators' plot to assassinate El Presidente and is thrown off a cliff. Michael manages to rescue Micki, though she ends up with temporary amnesia.
- The 'Phantom of Stage 28' appears to be haunting the set of modern day Western 'Raging Sky', so Michael takes on the part of a stunt double while doing some investigating.
- 1982–198649mTV-PGTV Episode7.1 (381)Michael and Kitt enter the Alternative 2000, a cross country race for cars that run on alternative fuel. They are there to find a saboteur, not to win, but find themselves having to rescue nosy reporter Liberty Cox in each lap.
- Adrienne St. Clair has rebuilt Goliath and springs Garthe Knight out of prison. Next they kidnap Devon and April from Foundation HQ in order to lure Michael and Kitt into a trap. Adrienne wants to install Kitt's CPU into Goliath, but Garthe is only interested in getting revenge on Michael.
- Wilton Knight's estranged son Garthe has returned from Africa where he had been sentenced to three lifetime imprisonments. Together with his mother Elizabeth (Wilton's fourth wife) he manages to steal the formula to Kitt's Molecular Bonded Shell and applies it to a monster truck he calls Goliath. Garthe then sets out to destroy Michael Knight, the man he feels his father gave everything to that was rightfully his.
- While Michael Knight is on vacation, a biker gang threatens to destroy a town.
- Bonnie has just moved into a new apartment. Next door a rowdy party is going on two days before Halloween. She appears to witness a woman being strangled by someone wearing a gorilla costume but passes out. When Bonnie calls in help from the Foundation, at first it all seems to have been a fever induced hallucination on her part. Is it all in her mind or will Bonnie be the next victim come Halloween?
