Character actor and familiar face on stage and screen, who starred in films by Ken Loach and Woody Allen. Best known for his performance opposite Helen Mirren in the original Prime Suspect (1991) series. He always brought a truth and integrity to his roles and was an imposing, strong and rugged figure, with a soul and belief in his craft. An absolute legend and a superior talent.

Josiah was born in Thailand where he spent the first five years of his life allowing him to develop his cultured background before his family moved to a Vancouver suburb in British Columbia, Canada called Mission. There he discovered his passion for the creative arts as a guitarist and singer in a rock group known as "Apprehended". He played in various bands and solo acts until the moment he began acting in Vancouver training with coach, Bart Anderson.

Josiah passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 32 from a fall at Spion Kop, British Columbia, Canada. He leaves behind his wife Alicia, a son, and a child on the way.

He also participated in numerous documentaries, advertisements, and radio coverings as voice-overs, notably for Rire & Chansons and Alouette radios, being the network official voice.

In 1994, he actively engaged in the strike movement of dubbing actors in order to assert their rights on the broadcasting of their work in cinema and on television.

He died from a stroke on June 16, 2020, at the age of 72.
