    • Brandon Call in St. Elsewhere (1982)

      7. Brandon Call

      • Actor
      Jagged Edge (1985)
Born Brandon Spencer Lee Call on November 17th, 1976, in Torrance, California, Brandon started performing at the tender age of two. His movie debut, albeit lending his voice, was in Disney's The Black Cauldron (1985), so his first live-action acting role was opposite Glenn Close in Jagged Edge (1985). He made a number of television appearances before gaining popularity playing David Hasselhoff's son on Baywatch (1989). However, his stint on Baywatch (1989) was short-lived as he stayed on the series for only a season. He then pursued another television program, the Brady Bunch-esque show Step by Step (1991), where he portrayed the cool JT Lambert with Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers as his parents.

Growing up, Brandon enjoyed such simple pleasures as playing basketball, boogie boarding, and listening to music. September 3, 1996, was probably a night Brandon will never forget because he was involved in a traffic dispute where he was shot in both arms. Luckily, Step by Step (1991) was a mid-season show, so he had time to recuperate before filming began. This wasn't the first time that Brandon got into trouble, though, as two weeks prior, his off-screen problems made the news. He seemed to have dropped off into relative obscurity, as his last televised role was a guest spot on the Hulk Hogan series Thunder in Paradise (1994).

      1923 (2022– )
Chuck McCollum quickly realized he was no longer a big fish after leaving high school and has never fully recovered from that harsh reality. Like many tragic figures, he took to the comedy stage and spent much of the 80s appearing in nightclubs, touring rock venues, and making mischief at colleges and universities across the country with comedy groups 'The Big Mac Theater' and 'The Riot Act.' Discovering far too late that he really wasn't very funny, he enjoyed some minor success as a professional screenwriter, but even that didn't afford him the level of rejection he was accustomed to, so he decided to have a go at a professional acting career; a move that soon thrust him deep into show business obscurity. By 1999 he managed to claw his way onto the other side of the camera and finally met some casting directors, thus spending the following ten years working with and learning from remarkable professionals like Junie Lowry Johnson, Libby Goldstein, Jeanie Bacharach, April Webster, and the late Ronnie Yeskel. However, success in the Casting community was clearly too much for him so, in the middle of the 2009 recession, he decided a return to acting was the best economical move overall. Shortly thereafter, he quietly sneaked onstage in the middle of productions like "The Play About the Baby" at the Road Theater, "Sweeney Todd" and "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at the El Portal, and "The Dinosaur Within" and "Futura" at Theatre @ Boston Court. Recently, he has also managed numerous times to elude studio security, and has been spotted skulking around the craft service tables on the sets of television shows such as "Your Honor," "The Lincoln Lawyer," "Criminal Minds: Evolution," "The Rookie," "Bosch: Legacy," "Hacks," the new "Matlock" with Kathy Bates, and "1923" with Harrison Ford. He also saw Cheech Marin at the grocery store the other day.
