Lee Ji-Eun, also known by her stage name IU, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) Lost and Found (2008). Although her follow-up albums, Growing Up and IU...IM brought mainstream success, it was only after the release of "Good Day", the lead single from her 2010 album Real, that she achieved national stardom. "Good Day" went on to spend five consecutive weeks at the top of South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, and in 2019, it was ranked number one on Billboard's "100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s" list.

With the success of her 2011 albums, Real+ and Last Fantasy, IU established herself as a formidable force on the music charts of her native country and further cemented her girl next door image as Korea's "little sister". 2011 also saw her first foray into songwriting with "Hold My Hand", which was written for the television series The Greatest Love. IU's third studio album, Modern Times (2013), showcased a more mature musical style that marked a departure from her earlier girlish image, with several tracks reaching the top 10 on the Gaon Digital Chart. The album was ranked number two on Billboard's "25 Greatest K-Pop Albums of the 2010s" list. IU subsequently exerted more creative control over her music; Chat-Shire marked the first time she was credited as the sole lyricist of her own album. IU's fourth studio album, Palette (2017), became her first to reach number one on Billboard's World Albums chart. While her following records Love Poem and Lilac continued to deviate from mainstream K-pop styles, exploring and mixing various music genres, IU consistently retained her dominance on South Korean music charts. Her 2020 single "Eight" became her first to reach number one on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.

Aside from her music career, IU has ventured into acting and hosting radio and television shows. Following her supporting role in the teen drama Dream High (2011) and minor appearances in several television series, she was cast in leading roles in the television drama series You Are the Best! (2013), Pretty Man (2013-14), The Producers (2015), and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016). IU's role as a desperate office worker in My Mister (2018) received critical acclaim, and she earned her first Best Actress in Television nomination at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2019, she starred in the anthology film series Persona and the fantasy television series Hotel Del Luna, the latter of which led to her second Best Actress nomination at the Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2022, IU starred in Hirokazu Kore-Edda's film Broker alongside Song Kang-Ho, Bae Doona, and Gang Dong-Won.

IU has released a total of five studio albums and nine EPs, five of which have reached number one on the Gaon Album Chart, and thirty number-one singles, making her the artist with the most number-one songs in South Korea. One of the best-selling solo acts in the group-dominated K-pop industry, IU became the first solo female K-pop act to perform at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena during the Seoul leg of her 2019 Love, Poem concert tour and also the first Korean female artist to hold a solo concert, The Golden Hour, at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Seoul on September 17 and 18, 2022. Rolling Stone named her the 135th greatest singer of all time in a 2023 ranking. She has been included five times in the top ten of Forbes magazine's annual Korea Power Celebrity list since 2012 and attained a peak ranking of number three that year. In 2014, Billboard recognized IU as the all-time leader of its K-pop Hot 100 with the most number-one songs and the artist with the most weeks at the number-one position on the chart. She was named Gallup Korea's Singer of the Year in 2014 and in 2017.

Steven Yeun was born in Seoul, South Korea, to June and Je Yeun. His family first immigrated to Canada and stayed there for one year, and then moved to the U.S. He has a brother named Brian. He began acting while at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI, where he studied Psychology as a major (BS in Psychology, 2005). John Yohan Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to Los Angeles, California as a child. His father was a Christian minister. Cho was educated at Herbert Hoover High School at Glendale, before moving on to the University of California at Berkeley, where he studied English literature. Upon graduation, he moved back to Los Angeles, working for a while as a teacher at Pacific Hills School where he taught 7th grade English. He also began acting with the famed Asian American theatre company East West Players.

Yunjin Kim (born November 7, 1973), also known as Kim Yun-Jin is a South Korean-American film and theater actress. She is best known for her role as Sun on the American television series Lost, and as the North Korean spy Bang-Hee in the South Korean film Shiri. She also starred as Dr. Karen Kim in the ABC drama series Mistresses.

Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea on November 7, 1973. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1980. They lived in Staten Island, New York. She joined the middle school drama club in the 7th grade and performed in the musical My Fair Lady.

On November 5 2019, Kim Seon-Ho was confirmed as a fixed cast member in the fourth season of the long-running KBS2 variety show "2 Days & 1 Night".

In 2020, Kim Seon-Ho appeared in the tvN/Netflix drama "Start-Up". His portrayal of Han Ji-pyeong, a sharp investor with a tragic past was enthusiastically received by viewers, and he experienced a surge in popularity both domestically and internationally, becoming one of the most famous cases of Second Lead Syndrome (when audiences root for the second male lead in a drama and wish the female lead would choose him although they know that it won't happen). Go Youn-jung was born on 22 April 1996 in Seoul, South Korea. She is an actress, known for Moving (2023), Hunt (2022) and Alchemy of Souls (2022).

Tae-ri Kim is a South Korean actress. Kim started her career appearing in theater productions and modelling in TV adverts. She made her feature film debut in Park Chan-wook's film The Handmaiden (2016) where she was chosen from among 1,500 candidates who auditioned for the role. Park Eun-bin is a South Korean actress. She debuted as a child actress before receiving her first leading role with a time-traveling romance drama Operation Proposal in 2012. She has starred in television series Hello, My Twenties! (2016, 2017), Hot Stove League (2019-2020), Do You Like Brahms? (2020), The King's Affection (2021), and Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022).

Before enlisting in military service in 2011, he played in the rock musical, Hedwig And the Angry Inch, from May 14 until June 19, 2011. Kim made his comeback in the 2013 television series "Who Are You?" after finishing his mandatory military service, playing the dead boyfriend of So Yi-Hyun's character. He made his debut in 2014 after his military service in the TV drama Bride of the Century, after an appearance in the music video "Moya" in 2013.

His popularity started to grow, in 2016, with a special appearance in the drama Goblin, as Choi Tae-Hee, the first love of the female lead, Ji Eun-Tak ( the actress Kim Go Eun). In the same year, he appeared in a more relevant role in the drama White Nights, as Tak.

In 2017, his outstanding performances in the dramas While You Were Sleeping and Prison Playbook made him more and more popular amongst the insiders.

Jung Haein's achievements did not come overnight. In the first years of his career, he worked on strengthening his acting skills by appearing in several independent and short films. In Spring 2018, his popularity impressively rose thanks to the JTBC drama Something in the Rain, in which he acted beside Son Ye-Jin as the lead character.

In the second half of 2018, he joined actress Kim Go-Eun and director Jung Ji-Woo in the movie Tune In For Love, released on August 28, 2019.

In 2019, he appeared in the lead role - as Yoo Ji-Ho - with Han Ji-Min in the MBC drama One Spring Night - written and directed by the same team who created Something In The Rain - and as Sang-Pil, the co-lead in the movie Start-Up, directed by Choi Jeong-Yeol.

In March 2020, starred in tvN drama A Piece Of Your Mind in the lead role of Moon Ha Won, an AI programmer gifted and sensitive.

Something In The Rain, Tune In For Love and One Spring Night - all available on Netflix - have been three consecutive box office hits, loved by the audience and the critics. Jung Hae-In received reviews for always showing the character itself with emotional acting, delicate and intense.

August 2021, with the D.P. release on Netflix, marks a turning point in Jung Haein's career. With his intense Ahn Junho, the young man assigned to the deserter pursuit unit while serving in his military service puts the versatility of his talent to the test and comes out highly successful. The webtoon this series is based on, written by Kim Bo-tong, garnered over 10 million views for its realistic portrayal of the brutal violence and human rights violations committed in the military. D.P.'s international success and the praise he received for his outstanding performance led him to represent South Korea in Netflix's celebratory event, Tudum.

The year 2021, which also saw him starring in the short film Blue Happiness directed by his friend Lee Je-hoon as part of the Unframed project, comes to a close with the release of Snowdrop, Disney's first original Asian series launched by the Disney Plus platform and the Korean JTBC. Thanks to the powerful and multifaceted performance of Jung Haein in the leading role, Lim Sooho, the series allows Disney a significant debut in the Asian market, ranking as the most-watched in several regions. Acclaimed Japanese director Takashi Miike casts him in the lead role, Ha Dong Soo for his first Korean project, the Connect series, expected in December also on Disney Plus. Meanwhile, 2022 sees Jung Haein busy filming the second season of D.P., renewed by Netflix in December 2021 in light of its incredible success.

After triumphing as Best Actor in the eighth Apan Awards, Jung Haein headlined the 27th Busan International Film Festival with the world premiere of Connect, which generated excitement and expectations thanks to the actor and the director. With the release of the series, in December 2022, the actor once again showcased his acting skills, proving that no genre is beyond his reach. In July 2023, he led the cast once more in the second season of the Netflix series "D.P.," reprising the role of Ahn Junho. Following the success of the first season, both critics and the audience had immense expectations even before the series' release. Jung Haein did not disappoint, portraying Ahn Junho with a range of expressive nuances, an intensity, and a depth even richer than those expressed in the first season. His performance has garnered enthusiastic reviews worldwide from critics and the public alike. Summer of 2024 sees Jung Haein's return to the romantic drama with his debut as Choi SeungHyo, a young and esteemed architect, both professionally and personally appreciated, grappling with embarrassing memories and a disruptive return from the past, his childhood friend Bae SeokRyu, portrayed by Jung SoMin, who leads a very different life. The series, acquired by Netflix, will be available for streaming in the summer of 2024 under the title "Golden Boy" (broadcasted in Korea on the tvN network under the title "Mom's Friend's Son").
