Pedro Pascal is a Chilean-born actor. He is best known for portraying the roles of Oberyn Martell in the fourth season of the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011), Javier Peña in the Netflix series Narcos (2015), the titular character in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian (2019) and Joel Miller in the HBO series The Last of Us (2023).

He's long-time friends with Triple Frontier (2019) co-star Oscar Isaac.

Cote de Pablo was born in Santiago, Chile, but was raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Arvida Middle School in Miami and then Carnegie Mellon University. She graduated in 2000 after studying music theater. Whilst at Carnegie Mellon she appeared in several theater productions, including "Indiscretions," "The Fantasticks," "The House of Bernarda Alba," "And The World Goes 'Round," "A Little Night Music," and "Cloud Techtonics." Lorenza Francesca Izzo Parsons is a Chilean actress and model. She has appeared in films, including Aftershock (2012), The Green Inferno (2013), Knock, Knock (2015), and Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Izzo was born in Santiago, Chile, to Chilean model Rosita Parsons . She is of Italian descent on her father's side. She has a younger sister, Clara Lyon Parsons, who is a model as well. When she was twelve years old, she moved to Atlanta with her father, then working towards a Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology. She was bullied over her strong Chilean accent as a child, but stated she "got over [her] accent pretty fast" after watching the 2002 sports film Blue Crush several times. Izzo recalls becoming "obsessed with [Blue Crush star] Kate Bosworth."

Langston Faizon Santisima is an African-American actor and comedian from Santiago de Cuba known for Wanda from Elf, Big Worm from Friday, Sean "Sweet" Johnson from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Jahmal Abdul Jackson from The Replacements, Bruce the Bear from Zookeeper, Robin Harris from Bébé's Kids and Maurice from The Meteor Man.

Leonor Varela was born on December 29, 1972 in Santiago de Chile, Chile, the daughter of Leonor Palma, a massage therapist, and Francisco Varela (Francisco Javier Varela Garcia), a biologist, neuroscientist, and philosopher. Her family fled to Costa Rica, leaving behind the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. They subsequently resided in Germany, USA, and France, where Varela studied.

Varela also had a short recurring role in the Fox Television show Arrested Development (2003) as the original Marta. She was nominated for the Ariel Award in 2005 in the category of Best Actress for Innocent Voices (2004). She also had a non-recurring role in Stargate: Atlantis (2004).

In 2005 she appeared playing Adela in Americano (2005), and her following projects included Goal II: Living the Dream (2007) as the journalist Jordana Garcia, Where God Left His Shoes (2007) with John Leguizamo and the TV series produced by Jennifer Lopez Como ama una mujer (2007).

In the 2008 Sundance Film Festival she screened Sleep Dealer (2008) and the Larry Bishop's Hell Ride (2008), opposite Michael Madsen and Eric Balfour and produced by Quentin Tarantino.

Marko Zaror is a Chilean martial arts action star and fight choreographer, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. His career began as a young boy with a passion for martial arts and fighting, his mother, a Black belt in Karate took him to the gym when he was just a baby. Inspired by Bruce Lee, at the age of six he started training himself, and by the age of 18 Marko had become an exceptional martial artist. Marko moved to Mexico and quickly found success in modeling by doing fashion shows until he receive a study grant in Televisa. After acting on local movies, Despite this success, he never lost his passion for martial arts and decided to move to Los Angeles. Zaror's first break into the Hollywood industry was by doing Dawne " The Rock " Johnson stunt double on the movie "The Rundown" where he won a World Stunt award.

Zaror then gained international notoriety as lead and producer of indie action cult Kitro, Mirageman, Mandrill and Redeemer, all premiered at Fantastic Fest in Austin Texas where they achieved international and domestic distribution. In his first American film, he was nominated for best villain with his performance of "Dolor" in Isaac Florentine's "Undisputed 3", where he earned worldwide fans for his physical skills and acting.

His big break was when Robert Rodriguez discovered and wrote him a role in Machete Kills. Since then, Marko has developed a promising career with several performances in series and movies that include the series From Dusk Till Dawn with the epic character of "Zolo" and now Hollywood most anticipated Action saga of 2023 John Wick 4 as "Chidi" one of Wick's main pursuers in the film.

Zaror latest film Fist of The Condor, which recently had its world premiere at the 2023 Rotterdam Film Festival in Germany, has been selected for the Alamo Drafthouse Fantastic Fest Presents series.

Multiple award winning Cristobal "Cristo" Tapia de Veer is a Chilean born, classically trained musician, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and composer for film & TV based in Montreal, Canada.

Hailed as a "musical genius" by Paste Magazine and NME, Cristobal Tapia de Veer is recognized for creating some of the most memorable soundtracks in modern entertainment.

"Music is an essential chaperone in entertainment, intensifying the action on the screen as well as the emotions that audiences feel, and Cristobal Tapia de Veer's art reminded us of the vitality of the work of the composer in 2021," said Miami Film Festival Executive Director Jaie Laplante. Cristo holds a Master's Degree in Classical Music (specialization: percussion) from the Conservatoire de Musique du Québec, CA.

In 2011 he scored his first mini-TV series "The Crimson Petal and the White" (dir: Marc Munden, BBC2), nominated at the BAFTA'S 2012 for Best mini-series.

2 years later Munden and Cristo teamed up again to work on C4's critically acclaimed cult series "Utopia". The 2 x 6 episode long conspiracy thriller won an International EMMY Award 2014 for best drama series. His music for Utopia won several awards (both seasons) and became an international milestone in the scoring world.

In 2013, he composed the music for ICI-Radio-Canada's new TV-drama "Série Noire", for which he won twice at the PRIX GEMEAUX (Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television) in 2014 and received a third trophy for the second season in 2016.

BBC-America's "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" has been released in fall 2016 and has gathered cult status amongst its fans on Netflix worldwide. "Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams - Crazy Diamond" (Amazon, C4), earned him an EMMY nomination in 2017. His music to the highly acclaimed season 4 finale of Netflix' dark sci-fi anthology series "Black Mirror - Black Museum" put him farther on the international scoring map.

SOCAN honoured Cristo with the prestigious International Achievement Award in fall 2017, marking the first time that a composer for film and television has been awarded the prize. Previous recipients of the award include bands such as Arcade Fire. He was named AV composer of the year 2021 and 2023.

Due to his monumental success, Cristo was invited to be part of the jury at the 1st edition of Canneseries in France in 2018. CANNESERIES aims to highlight series from all over the world and to give an international voice to this increasingly popular and fiercely creative new art form.

His music to HBO's limited drama series "The Third Day" (Plan B Entertainment, Punchdrunk International) earned him 6 nominations for best music including another BAFTA nom.

His outstanding tribal score for Mike White's "The White Lotus" (HBO), lightened up the days for audiences during the pandemic and has been widely acclaimed since. In 2022 Cristo received 2 EMMY's for it (for Best Television Score, Limited Series, and Best Main Title Theme) and received another EMMY nomination for the 2nd Season.

Paramount's surprise hit "Smile" made over 220M worldwide and held the #1 spot for over 2 weeks at the domestic box office. Cristo's music has been hailed by critics and fans once again!

Is the son of a Spanish mother and a Chilean father. His family moved back to Spain when he was 1 year old, and he grew up and studied in Madrid. He wrote, produced and directed his first short film La cabeza at the age of 19, and he was 23 when he directed his feature debut Thesis (1996). His film Open Your Eyes (1997) was a huge success in Spain and was distributed worldwide. It was remade in Hollywood by Cameron Crowe as Vanilla Sky (2001), starring Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz (also the star of the original version) and Cameron Diaz. The Others (2001) is Amenábar's first English language film.

Desiderio Alberto Arnaz y de Acha III was born in Santiago, Cuba on March 2, 1917. His father was the mayor of Santiago. The 1933 revolution led by Fulgencio Batista had landed his father in jail and stripped the family of its wealth, property and power. His father was released because of the intercession of U.S. officials who believed him to be neutral during the revolt. The family fled to Miami, Florida. One of Desi's first jobs in America consisted of cleaning canary cages. However, after forming his own small band of musicians, he was hired by Xavier Cugat, the "king" of Latin music.

Desi soon left Cugat, formed his own Latin band, and literally launched the conga craze in America. He was cast in the Broadway play "Too Many Girls" and then brought to Hollywood to make the film version of the play. It was on the set of Too Many Girls (1940) that he and Lucille Ball met. They soon married and approximately 10 years later formed Desilu Productions and began the I Love Lucy (1951) shows. Desi and Lucille had two children, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr.. At the end of the I Love Lucy (1951) run, which included The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour (1957), the two divorced. Desi later wrote an autobiography entitled "A Book." In 1986 he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He died on December 2, 1986 at age 69.

Pablo Larraín was born in Santiago, Chile. He is a director, writer and producer, known for Spencer (2021), Jackie (2016), El Club (2015), NO (2012), among others. Together with his brother Juan de Dios Larraín, they founded Fabula in 2004, one of the most prolific production companies in Latin America.

Horatio Sanz was born on June 4, 1969, in Santiago, Chile, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of the Upright Citizen Brigade's founding members and performed with Chicago's Second City comedy troupe.

When he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (1975) as a featured player at the beginning of the 24th season (September 26, 1998), he became the long-running sketch comedy show's first Latino cast member. He appeared along with fellow featured players Jimmy Fallon and Chris Parnell, and after only one season, the three were promoted to cast members. On the show, Horatio played the characters Frankie Hilbert on the sketch "Boston Teens", pothead Gobi on the recurring sketch "Jarret's Room", and A/V teacher Mr. Banglian on "Wake Up, Wakefield."

Valentina Vargas is a Chilean-born French actress. She developed most of her career in France, where she was raised.

Vargas began her career in the dramatic art within the workshop of Tania Balachova in Paris and also later at the Yves Pignot School of Los Angeles. Her cinematographic career started via the filming of three French movies, namely Pierre Jolivet's Strictly Personal (1985), Luc Besson's The Big Blue (1988) and Jean-Jacques Annaud's The Name of the Rose (1986). Over the years, Vargas also worked with Samuel Fuller in Street of No Return (1989), Miguel Littín in Los Náufragos (1994) and Alfredo Arieta in Fuegos (1987).

Vargas is trilingual in Spanish, French and English. This has enabled her to pass without notice in films as varied as the cinematic horror film Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996) where she played the Cenobite Angelique, to the comedy Chili con carne (1999) of Thomas Gilou. Nicole Polizzi was born on 23 November 1987 in Santiago, Chile. She is a producer and writer, known for The Three Stooges (2012), Movie 43 (2013) and Supernatural (2005). She has been married to Jionni LaValle since 29 November 2014. They have three children.

Fernanda Urrejola has built her career playing strong, courageous women. She is originally from Santiago, Chile where she was an internationally competitive synchronized swimmer before she became an actress. In 2018 Fernanda will appear on Netflix's "Narcos" as María Elvira, wife of Diego Luna's character Miguel. Luis Zahera was born on 23 May 1966 in Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. He is an actor and producer, known for Cell 211 (2009), The Beasts (2022) and The Candidate (2018).

Rafael Campos was born on 13 May 1936 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He was an actor, known for Agent for H.A.R.M. (1966), This Could Be the Night (1957) and Centennial (1978). He was married to Dinah Washington and Sally Boyd. He died on 9 July 1985 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Born in 1974, Sebastián Lelio is one of the leading figures (along with Pablo Larraín, Andrés Wood and a few others) of the post-dictatorship Chilean cinema. After graduating from the "Escuela de Cine de Chile" in Santiago, Lelio started by making shorts (he made five from 1995 to 2003, as well as a documentary). From 2005 on, he directed four remarkable feature films, the first three very dark, the fourth one somewhat lighter, which all garnered awards in the festival circuit. The Sacred Family (2005) is kind of Chilean version of Pier Paolo Pasolini's Teorema (1968). It was followed by Navidad (2009), a drama of uncommon intensity focusing on three teenagers alienated from their families and The Year of the Tiger (2011), recounting the escape of an inmate during Chile's 2010 earthquake. Coming after this taught triptych, Gloria (2013) surprises by its peaceful tone. The amorous adventures of Gloria, a sixty-year-old office worker in Santiago, although not without tensions and bitterness, are less upsetting than what Lelio had filmed before. But whether dark or rosy, Lelio's cinema explores the Chilean society of today with the same acuteness.

Marlene Favela was born on 5 August 1976 in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico. She is an actress and executive, known for Gata salvaje (2002), Rubí (2004) and Contra viento y marea (2005). She was previously married to George Seely.

Mariana Di Girólamo is a Chilean film, theatre and television actress. In the movie "Ema", by the Chilean director Pablo Larraín, she plays a mother who, together with her partner, represented by the Mexican Gael García, lives the process of adopting a child.

Mariana studied theatre at the Catholic University of Chile and then did a theatre coaching in Spain. In 2019 she participated in the "Río Oscuro" series and will premiere during 2020 in the series La Jauría, produced by Fábula, where she shares cast with actresses Daniela Vega and Antonia Zegers.

Manny Perez is becoming one of the most recognized Latino Actors in Hollywood. He has embarked into the most pivotal steps in his career. In the past few years he has been cast from leads to co-starring roles in over a dozen films; in major and independent releases.

Manny is one of eleven siblings, born in a small town in the Dominican Republic. At the age of 10, he and his family moved to Providence, Rhode Island. By the time he was done with high school, Manny knew the stage was his natural home. He moved to New York majoring in drama at Marymount Manhattan College.

Manny Perez first got the industry's attention when he co-wrote, produced and starred in the critically acclaimed film Washington Heights (2002) an independent film set in his neighborhood. Manny's performance in the film garnered the praise of many film critics; The New York Times stated, "Mr. Perez has charisma to burn." He won the 2002 Best Actor Award at The Milan International Film Festival in Italy for his performance in that film.

His recent project La soga (2009) which had its world premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival in September of 2009 to standing ovations, sold-out shows and stellar reviews was produced, written and starred Perez. Variety stated, "Perez, puts plenty of guts into his script and performance".

It was the first Dominican film EVER to have screened at the prestigious festival. The film was released by 7-57 Releasing and so far has made over 1 million dollars worldwide.

Perez continues to write and co-write other scripts for future projects. In February of 2009, Perez co-wrote, co-produced and starred in the film titled, Forged (2010) shot completely in Scranton, PA. MAYA Entertainment will release it.

He has worked with such film directors as Sidney Lumet, Arthur Penn, Spike Lee, Leon Ichaso, Mike Newell, Ed Zwick, Takeshi Kitano, Bob Giraldi, Darnell Martin, among others.

With all the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, Manny has maintained loyal to his roots in the Latin community, both in the US and the Dominican Republic. He is the classic example of someone who has made the American dream happen. This kind of cavalier attitude is the reason he was honored by El Diario newspaper with the "EL Award", as one of the most prominent Latinos in New York. He recently received the Tony Bennett Excellence in Media Award, the Perry Ellis Humanitarian Award, and given the Key to the City from his hometown in Providence, Rhode Island. He was also honored with the Humanitarian Award in his native country of Dominican Republic for all of his charitable work during the devastation of Hurricane Noel.

All of his hard working ethics and talent has brought him to such great success, which will continue to take him to greater heights as he continues his career.

Sebastián Silva was born on 9 April 1979 in Santiago, Metropolitan Region, Chile. He is a writer and director, known for Tyrel (2018), Gatos viejos (2010) and The Maid (2009).

Marcela Said is a Franco-Chilean director and screenwriter. She studied Philosophy of Art in Chile and also has a Master's degree in Media and Languages from the University of La Sorbonne. After four political documentary films, including El Mocito, which was screened at the Berlinale Forum in 2011, she directed her first feature film "The Summer of Flying Fish", premiered at the Directors' Fortnight in 2013. Los Perros, her second feature film, is selected for the Cannes Critics' Week in 2017. Los Perros has won many prizes, including "Horizontes Latinos" in San Sebastian, the Jury Prize in Biarritz, Best Film in Calcutta, Best Screenplay in Cairo, and was running for the Best Latino American Movie GOYA prize.

Benjamín Vicuña Luco is a Chilean actor. He studied theatre at the University of Chile. He is a descendant of Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna, a Chilean historian and politician of Basque and Irish descent. He is the founder of Centro Mori and has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF Chile in 2008.
