Role Play follows the story of an undercover assassin for hire whose life takes an unexpected turn after she and her mild-mannered husband go on date-night in the city.
While the plot may not be the most believable, the film is funny and entertaining.
This is a great choice if you're struggling to find something on TV and looking for an easy-to-watch movie without the need for deep thinking or analysis.
"Roleplay" may not break any new ground and I'm not convinced that I entirely bought Cuoco and David O as a couple, but the film's not that deep. David O is funny as the hapless husband and Cuoco is entertaining as a soccer mom/spy.
The scenes with Bill Nighy are particularly good.
