Warning: Spoilers
There have been countless adaptations of a Christmas Carol. Except for Shakespeare roles I don't think there has ever been a part that has been played by more great actors then Scrooge. On stage he was played by Olvier, on the radio he was played by Orson Welles and Lionel Barrymore, on the screen he has been played by Alastair Sim, Reginald Owen, Albert Finney Michael Caine and on tv he has been played by Sterling Hayden, Jack Klugman, James Whitmore, Walter Matthau, George C. Scott and Patrick Stewart. Here Rich Little does a tour de force one man show playing 18 different characters with equal brilliance. He captures the pure joy and magic of Dickens tale but makes it funny as well. I think my favorite is him as Nixon playing Marley's Ghost with tape around him instead of chains.
