I see a lot of reviews on here complaining about it not being the same as the original. If you want the original then go watch the original.
As far as this show, it's honestly not bad. If you're looking for the greatest show of all time this isn't it, but it really isn't bad for what it is. I like how they took different stories from the original and the books and combined it into a complete seasonal arc. My one complaint however is that they had to include Slappy into it. I understand he's one of the more popular Goosebumps stories but I personal don't care for it.
Other than that, the acting isn't as as bad as these haters make it seem and the stories are well written. Even the CGI isn't all that bad.
