THRILLER CRIME DRAMA
Co-written and directed by Phil Karlson directing a solid low budget thriller that is like reliving a very bad dream, which centers on ex-boxer turned blue collar cab driver, Ernie Driscoll (John Payne) getting himself mixed up with some bad cronies, unaware that his wife, Pauline Driscoll (Peggie Castle) may have something to do with it. Although, the movie is outdated, the way his fellow cabby workers believe the main protagonist and of course, help him resolve his complicated situation feels very authentic, since in real life an innocent person, cannot clear himself without the help of others.
