If you want to see a good pov film about young adults, some of which influencers, sneaking into a real abandoned medical facility and being picked off by ghosties and ghoulies, this ain't it. The same year this was released south Korea released a film called "Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum" that follows an almost identical plot. The only difference is that Gonjiam was good.
The majority of the characters have actual nuance. They put effort into building tension. It never felt like Predator had an unscripted cameo. And the ending wasn't preachy and contrived.
Is it a perfect film, no. But compared to Heilstätten, perhaps.
