Till (I) (2022)
7/10
a mother's struggle

Warning: Spoilers
The film TILL is a touching and educational film. The film is educational because it teaches students about the history of segregation in the United States during the 1960s and 1950s. The struggle of this mother is incredible as she fights against the death of her son killed by white men of color in rural Mississippi. The deceased was Emmett Till, a 14 year old black man. He lived in the northern states of the United States where there was no lynching or segregation. One day he went to Mississippi, a southern state where there was lynching and segregation. The law against lynching was passed in 2022 in the United States. There is a very touching part in the film. The touching part is when Emmett's mother walked out of the courtroom having lost the case, people came out in the streets to applaud Emmett's mother who lost the case. She fought the lynching until her death in 2003.
