Unwelcome (2022)
7/10
Not sure why it scored so low, it was pretty good

Warning: Spoilers
I have it a 7 because I enjoyed it. I wasn't going in expecting much at all and ended up enjoying it. The 'Red Caps' looked very 80's, that part had a 80's feel.

The only real downfall is I wanted the husband to lean to be a man and actually win a fight but he never does, I guess it is modern day, men have to be weak. Had the husband stood up once I would have given it a lot higher score.

The acting was alright, nothing stands out in this as horrible. I guess it wasn't scary, the scary part is at the first when the home fries broke into the house and attached the couple, I think this might be why people rated it so low, the harsh part was at the first and then it got silly from there. Silly isn't bad though, I would have left a card with the liver inviting them to a party or something, introduced them to Coke and Pepsi products and watched Shrek with them. I don't know, I thought they were adorable. The best part is how they messed up that family at the end. I still have no idea what the heck happened at the end, she became their queen? I thought maybe they were humans turned into goblins because the one that 'Dad' crushed the skull in called him Dad but it never really mentions it again plus the kid that was sold to them before the movie wasn't turned into a goblin so I don't think that was a thing.

This isn't art but it is a lot better than other horror themed movies rated this low, I think it deserves more than a 5, what the rating is at at the time I write this. 5 seems really low, the acting and the goblin characters should have put it higher alone.
