Well, if ITVx (you might have heard of it from the endless promo) is going to be the home of nice dramas like this then it might be worth its weight.
This programme was well made, well written and well performed. I had to check it actually was on ITV for a moment.
Full of nostalgia and insights, this was quality drama, with an excellent central performance given by Helena Bonham Carter as Nolly herself.
It I'm sure touches more of a nerve if you are part of the generations who grew up or watched 'Crossroads', and in particular Nolly's sacking/return, but even if you didn't this remains a lovely piece of tv drama.
Do more of this ITV, it'll serve you well.
