I was entertained enough to like this movie, but it's not in my top favorites. The leads have good chemistry, although there are some lopsided moments with the dialogue and interactions, something was a bit off from time to time, direction, or maybe the editing. If I watched it again I'd be able to figure out the problem. The music, lighting, setting, were all good. The acting was ok, there were some obvious amateurs in the cast, but I'll overlook that for the sake of the theme, which was about a pro football player being an upstanding guy after all... He broke our lead female's heart many years ago, but I guess it wasn't really his fault, he was drafted into the NFL, what can we expect? Her dreams have always been about being a philanthropist and it looks like it's happening.
The romance is sufficient, and I like both of the leads, so this is enough to fulfill my wishlist for viewing enjoyment, and enough to say it's above average.
