I can't get over this drama. I'm like a kid watching Frozen over and over and adults never understood why.
I've been watching this on the 4th round now, jumping onto fight scenes, and Hei FengXi and Bai FengXi scenes, with their chemistry unceasing. At first I'm taken aback, as not used to watching unrealistic fight scenes, where actors fly, and could even turn around while flying!
But oh well, this is a fantasy drama so anything goes. Now I appreciate the form, length, that goes into each sequence, like a beautiful dance art.
As for Hei-Bai FengXi or Feng Lanxi/Feng Xiyun, I never get tired watching them when they are on a frame together, whether they are fighting, plotting, deliberating, reasoning, or confessing love. All the other actors are apt for their role. The costumes well depict a historical era that makes me appreciate silk, long ponytails, and perhaps even want to learn Mandarin language. Wonderful storylines, that carry depth, wit, and humor. I thoroughly enjoyed this!
