Kaulder is a Witch Hunter,, and he's been hunting for over 800 yrs.
He once hunted the Witch-Queen (who ruled over all witches) and was able to kill her before she attempted to take over the world, and cloak it in darkness. Before her last breath, the Witch-Queen cursed Kaulder with immortality, so he'd never know the peace of joining his loved ones in the afterlife.
In the present day, Kaulder works with the Axe and Cross Order, hunting down the worst witches in the world and trapping them where they cannot escape. To aid him in his quest, the Order assigns him a priest, referred to as "Dolan," to record his story. After his 36th Dolan is killed, Kaulder calls upon a witch named Chloe to help him find out who committed the act and why.
This is by no means epic, but it is a perfectly enjoyable movie to watch. Diesel plays his part as only he can. Caine, Wood, & Leslie also bring plenty to the screen. I'd give it a 6.5 rating.
