Lavish attempt to portray life among the elite of ancient Egypt with a good cast and lots of intrigue. A rather strained love story. However there are great sets and huge battles (that were re-used in similar movies). The battles were all filmed in the Egyptian desert. Most of the versions are edited and just tell a plain story. While others include torture scenes and sacking of the city. The re-creation of the throne room and the large palaces was well done. Try and find the longest version you can and enjoy it.
