A thoughful and thought-provoking film about an unfortunate fireman who suffers a lot of bad fortune , as life deals him a bad hand . A disturbed and upsetting man due to distresses such as family death , participation by helping in 11M's Atocha massacre executed by Islamists , suicide of a young who he was helping him at a balcony , a shock treatment , among others . It is a passable movie , though a little boring and a bit tiring because of the continuous sad situations who bear the main and secondary roles , as well as too much talking . Main and support cast are pretty good . Roberto Alamo gives a fine acting as the fireman who becomes involved into hard situations when his life gets awry . He is well accompanied by an excellent support cast , such as : Manuela Vellés as the hard-working and understanding psychiatrist , Pedro Casablanc as the cunning doctor with dark interest , Claudia Placer as his daughter , Maggie Civantos as his wife Sandra and Carlos Bardem playing his colleague Pedro , he had 2019 Nominee Award of the Spanish Actors Union Film : Performance in a Minor Role Male . And brief apperances from Juan Carlos Vellido as a lawyer , Andrés Gertrúdix as a nutty patient , Patxi Freytez as Mario , Rocío Muñoz-Cobo as Laura and cameo by Patricia López Arnaiz.

It contains a moving and sensitive musical score by the great musician Lucas Vidal who has composed nice scores of known films such as : Fast and furious 6 , The raven , Cold light of day , Tracers , Palm Trees in the Snow , The Quiet Ones , Heineken case . And catching song : No me ves , written and performed by Manuela Vellés who was discovered by Julio Medem in Caótica Ana . As well as adequate and atmospheric cinematography by Albert Pascual . The motion picture was professional , though slow-moving paced by Ibon Cormenzana who has only made three films : Jaizkibel , Alegría, tristeza and Los Totenwackers , though he has a long career as a writer and producer. He's written , directed and produced a number of short movies: Infinity (1996), Negra Rosa (1998), Media Luna (1998), 8, 9 y 10 (1999) and Silencios (1999) . He constituted 'Infinity Films in 1998 with the support of financial investors. In the year 1999 he also wrote 'Jaizkibel', that he produced and directed in the year 2000. The film was released in June 2001. During the first quarter of the year 2001, he developed the business plan for Infinity Films' expansion and searched for finance to carry it out. He then analysed a number of scripts and counsels in the writing process of the scripts acquired by Infinity. He produced 'Lo' - a thriller at the beginning of 2002, which will be released at the end of the year. At the moment, Ibon is preparing the production of his fourth film, '14 days with Victor' and worked and is working on the development of other productions. Rating . 5.5/10 .
