What was wrong about this movie was that the idea of having to cut down that tree was wrong to begin with. They were trying to justify it by saying that in the end the wood will be in good use, but her persistance on cutting it down even though it was not only beautiful, but also had historical and sentimental value to the family, was ridiculous. Plus, it was obvious where this one was going. But, at least, the ending was okay.
