So if you read the blurb- I can accept the concept- objects hold memories, as a pseudo science- Sci Fi premise. but I have other problems- I find it entertaining. accepting the premise, like Dr. Who& Time Travel, to go on this journey. some of it is "incroyable" & full of holes. OK, do they have "felony murder" in France? Looking it up doesn't list France. One story line, 3 students bomb a vivisection animal lab, on a Sat., and a woman dies. 1 guy goes to jail for 10 years (not murder, just bombing)- 2 female accomplices get away. one is turning herself in 3 days after statute of limits, another can't be charged on confession, too late. Hay, folks, their felony actions proximately caused a woman's death. Intent is carried by the commission of a Felony. can't the FRENCH do any better? I saw this in another show; violent actions directly caused the death of a man. no consequences. The plot lines are often very convoluted, to try to create intrigue. Another, dead man with large chest tattoos, done in a matter of hours, laced with poison, new tattoo healing. no swelling, redness. He kills 2 men. They are looking for a famous Tattoo artist, who hides his identity. These are expertly & cleanly executed. You can't do these tattoos in 6 or even 8, 10 hours. 2 (or3) people get the same tattoo years ago, maybe from this same artist. 1 on a dead man, & "voila" the big reveal, the suspect or witness has no such tattoo. They decide it was removed. Tattoo removal isn't a picnic, would leave discoloration, hints of old ink, scarring, marks. probably visible, but certainly under medical exam. This guys chest skin looked clean like a baby. there is an extravagant story line about family murder &kidnap, of Thomas and his French cop brother Eric. The one with the "gift", ability, Thomas leaves NY & the FBI protection, released from jail, for life, for avenging Family tragedy. Comes back home without FBI OK. It is not clear why NY, and who he killed (Vengeance isn't justifiable homicide). Bec they are still trying to solve the family murders & kidnapping. 19 years later, believe 2 y.o. sister is alive. Not realistic; the FBI doesn't play around. the young brothers teens, were out celebrating. And what about the 14 y.o. girl, blind from untreated glaucoma in an upper middle class family in France, Incroyable! Eric is shot, in a coma, may not, live, have normal brain function or walk again. He recovers, is walking with a cane, than totally normal movements, within a really short time. His big pregnant wife, is still pregnant, so this healing is barely 2 months. I've had colds last longer. They bring in a young woman, very young, actressy, moody, Police Head, with a dark past that interfers with her job and leadership position. Incroyable, I can see 3 plot lines already for S#2. I can't find S#2, yes I would watch it. Keeping in mind that some of this is so poorly designed and written. It takes place in Aix-en-Provence, charming, what a joy. Love it. Online has a walking tour; I want to go. scenes in famous landmark Cathedral. Sothern France, 40KM North of Marseille. Nothing modern or Industrial. No homeless, no poverty. Clean streets, no traffic jams, and no garbage trucks. How lucky are they.
