The idea for this film is quite good and the acting wasn't bad but it's just way too drawn out and what starts as a good idea ends as a ridiculous facepalm. I won't spoil the ending but just when I thought the film had a good twist it let itself down yet again, just as it did with all the blatantly telegraphed turns in the story.
It's a shame this story wasn't pushed a long at a decent pace and given a few more punchy moments rather than trying to be an endless string of musical montages, which made it like a long pop video at times.
Shame really, it felt like a chance missed for a very good film.
