A new Angelique, Maria Van Arnstein is the impressive woman changing the perspectives of men, saving her baby and the peace. sure, the film is far to be different by the first parts of serie. except the small details, the Tatars and the sketches of theirs life, the relation between Tatars and Slaves, the courage of women in war time, a drop of Solomon wisedom example. a film who gives same romantic air and same wood performance of the lead actress. but, sure, it could be only a small detail for the fans of the serie, remembering old pieces of not real authentic German Romanticism.
