I don't know what the dude talking about this program as a feminist recruitment show is talking about. I've watched every episode so far and this is just about the funniest thing on TV. Super dry, very ironic approach to humour.The kind of comedy that doesn't tell you when you're supposed to laugh. The insanity of the situations just kind of creeps up to a boil. Reminds me of SCTV at it's best. Very Canadian. That said, I wonder how long it will last for. I can't imagine an audience raised on sitcoms and laugh tracks understanding this show. There are no punchlines. Just mounting absurdity and remarkably cutting satire.
By the way, on the feminist front. I'm just a beer drinking dude living in a house with two other beer drinking dudes. We all watch this show and laugh. I think the guy writing about this as a feminist propaganda show might just be scared of women.
