I'm really angry with the idiots who watched this film and wrote reviews saying they loved it, thought it was a cult classic in the making and that it is comparable to films like The Thing & Aliens!!!!???? etc because they are very wrong. I love The Thing and Aliens plus REAL cult classics like Dog Soldiers/Death Watch/The Hole and even Severance is better than this tosh.
There are no redeeming features for me on this film, no actors which you warm too, the plot is awful from the start, slow and reveals itself in a boring way, the creatures aren't scary or even designed well and you find yourself very bored and frustrated at the end.
This was 1h30 mins I can never get back and feel duped by the fact that people wrote good reviews about it, if everyone thought it was rubbish then I would have no expectations and may have not found it so terrible.
The problem is that the formula for a good horror film is not there at all - the characters are too few, ambiguous and annoying to connect with, the monsters are rubbish and bad rip offs of a few decent films creations, the plot is slow and doesn't reach any real significance or worse is like a paint by numbers.
Please don't waste your time with this terrible film, watch The Thing instead....
